Travis Stevens Home Workout
Judo @ Home Workouts by Travis Stevens
As a Karate Black Belt and now a Judo Kids instructor I found Travis's Home Workout video amazing for my own home training and great exercises for my warm up within the classes I run. I highly recommend anything from Travis Stevens. He explains things very clearly and to the point. Not a lot of wasted time like a lot of video lessons. A great addition for any martial artist.

The Daisy Fresh Knee Slice by Andrew Wiltse
Can't believe Andrew made this a free course! If you want to tighten up or add to your knee slice game, you gotta grab this. It will definitely add to your guard passing skill set!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very organized and comprehensive instructional.
They Shall Not Pass by Gordon Ryan
Very organized and comprehensive instructional. If your already high level and have a solid open guard game the buy it. However if you don't have many tools from open guard i would recommend developing it before delving into this since you will probably feel lost in the beginning, as I did. Besides that you’ll get your money’s worth and Gordon Ryan has the resume to back up the effectiveness of what he teaches.

Gordon's attention to detail is well worth the price tag if any grappler wants to level up their game.

Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Of the many Danaher videos I have, this one is probably my favorite. I particularly like the 3rd and 5th volumes which have a lot of very nice sequences, and they are briefly reviewed at the end of each of those volumes making them easy to drill a whole related array of attacks from a given position He gives a good series of moves from a position and then later ties in other moves you can go for if they react differently . There are a few moves I'm surprised weren't in here (i.e. half nelson back take and rolling bow and arrow in disc 3), but given the list of options he gave already, I can't really consider that much of a fault. I sure he knows 100 moves he could have put in here. The one thing that did confuse me was why the top lock only showed the armbar. I would think transitions to omoplata, kimura, triangle, etc would all be there.

Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
I have a large number of the BJJ fanatics videos and of the several I've made it through this one is by far my favorite. This video has an insane amount of content, it's easy to understand, very efficiently explained and is organized well. I've been able to pick a number of things from here based on positions I find myself in and then practice them in regular rolls and hit a fair number of them as a white belt (just got blue), something I've struggled with when trying to apply things from other videos (often I drill them well, but then struggle when rolling).
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:great video
The Daisy Fresh Knee Slice by Andrew Wiltse

The Mikey Lock by Mikey Musumeci
Mikey is a pure genius. Just finished watching the1st DVD. The sandwich theory clip alone is well worth the money, as I can see it improving every joint lock I'll be doing from now on.

The Art & Science Of The Ground And Pound Part 3: Anchoring Positions by Greg Jackson
Greg’s teaching is so basic you can easily understand it, but so complex that it helped take me to the next level in my ground and pound. I’ve watched the video several times and incorporate this into my daily workouts. Nice stuff, thanks for the help Greg.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very cool details, mind-expanding
Grabbed this when it was on sale on a whim, have always been a fan of Junny's. Junny presents the material in a very concise manner as well as showing awesome examples for drills to do to build confidence and a more smooth approach. I can definitely see basing my no gi top game around his leg drag/heel hook options. Leg locking from top is not something that is taught enough and this is an awesome overview!

Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
Great videos! I own many Prof Faria videos and he always explains movements in a way that I can retain the instruction. This series is excellent and I use it to explain BJJ to my kids.

Good content. Some good exercises that I have incorporated into my own workout sessions.
Unique position that can easily be added to someone's game
Exploring The Empty Half Guard by Daniel Paul Pollaccia
The empty half is not something that I was very familiar with. I have been training in jiu jitsu over ten years and had really never seen this used anywhere. The trailer and title of this video caught my attention and I decided to give it a chance. These are definitely techniques that can fit into my existing game, this is a position that I can see myself transitioning to when need be. The attacks from the empty half are very simple and the entries for it are everywhere. Definitely worth taking the time to study and add in to your game, regardless of what your game is. These techniques can help and give you more depth in sweeps and submission attacks from bottom.

The BJJ Modified Overhook by James Clingerman
James Clingerman's instructionals are always fantastic. He is the kind of instructor that when you watch one of his instructionals you go "I better check this guy's other stuff". I said that after watching an instructional of his on the coyote half guard, a position I use a lot. He showed there some fantastic new stuff to me. This instructional is no different. I've been using the overhook from the closed guard a lot and decided to purchase this just because of the positions he shows there. Sure enough, his perspective on those are awesome and well worth the price. All the rest, to me at least, was a welcome bonus (overhook from standing, from butterfly guard, to pass guard, to attack the turtle etc).
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:this is a review :)
Mastering The Head and Arm by Joel Tudor
i don't like to use head and arm chokes, because i have a neck injury. however i met joel when i was in san diego for a few months (i was a blue belt at the time) and i still use some of the stuff that he shared so i knew i had to get this series. i almost finished the 1st part and already picked up new concepts and techniques that i am planning to put some time in with a training partner. he actually shows more techniques that what's in the description, as he shows lot of little variations. i especially like that wrist lock from telephone defence! highly recommend this, despite the odd choice of clothing, which personally does not bother me at all.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:For what many athletes solve
Systematically attacking From Top Pins: Side Control & North South by Gordon Ryan
For what many athletes solve with athleticism and intuition, Gordon solves with technical understanding. As always, GR provides not only the 'how', but the 'why' to each method. No doubt one of the best instructors on BJJ fanatics.

The Python Back Triangle by Michael Chu
I really believe in this system! Very versatile with 12 different entries but once you get to the back it's basically all the same. I've only been drilling it for 2 weeks but I can see the potential to add several options to your game. Strongly suggest the The Python Back Triangle for all levels but especially white and blue belts!
