Best guard passing
Gringo Guard Passing by Jake Mackenzie
Amazing techniques. I've always loved playing passing guard and this DVD has taken that part of my game to the next level.
Good Breakdowns
Octopus Guard 2.0 by Craig Jones
Craig goes over the concepts of the guard witch I liked instead of just showing you the techniques. I think this instructional is good for anyone who trains MMA. A different way of thinking about grappling when strikes are involved and how half guard is dangerous to stay in.
Amazing
The Modern Leg Lock Manual by Victor Hugo
Very creative ways of setting up ankle locks toeholds n knee bars.
Great instructional and a concise introduction to the octopus game
Craig Jones Mini Product The Reach Around AKA Octopus Guard by Craig Jones
Practicing these techniques with a few buddies and then using them on unsuspecting victims in sparring is the most fun I've had with jiu-jitsu in years. I really like that this instructional is relatively short, but the techniques are demonstrated and explained really well, so I've been able to study the whole thing multiple times already. It's been really refreshing to learn something new and untraditional, and using the octopus guard has indirectly opened up and helped my overall game as well. Once I've fully integrated these techniques into my game I'll definitely look into getting the Octopus 2.0 as well.
Basic intro to rides
