Missing section but still great
High Precision Half Guard and Reverse Half Guard by Jake Mackenzie
I believe there is a section missing about the Knee Twist position. The video starts off with Jake saying we’re building off of the previous section, but there is no previous section to view. The content is great overall, but I just wish I could see what’s missing. Jake is one of the best half guard players in the world so you know you can trust these competition proven techniques.

The Stack Pass by Andre Galvao
Fantastic series on stack passing. It also includes important details on how to break grips, defeat your opponent’s frames, what to do in the positions following the pass, and some great finishes. Andre’s teaching style is very clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Very good. Tom is a true jiu-jitsu thinker.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Cool techniques, but weirdly put together
The Kimura System by Robson "Mau-Mau" Lima
This DVD definitely delivers on what it says it will, and shows the kimura from a tonne of positions, predominantly half guard. However, the order of the footage seems to have been mixed up and the fundamentals are at the end as opposed to the start which is quite confusing, just something to watch out for. I also think the instructor could have looked a little more at the mechanics of the kimura just so the viewer gets a good idea of why they are performing certain movements. Still a really enjoyable watch though!

The Aggressive Open Guard No Gi by Johnny Tama
Professor Tama's techniques are amazing. He mentions all key details to execute his techniques perfectly! With each technique mentioned, he explained exactly what to do based on your opponent's reaction. He really teaches how to stay one step ahead of your opponent. All the techniques in this instructional are connected so well each other. His teaching style is to the point, so detailed, and clear. Thank you Professor!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:All-around amazing
Leg Lock Anthology: 50/50 by Lachlan Giles
This is excellent. I was mostly interested in the K-guard entries when I bought, but was really impressedby the whole system. The first two volumes move at a slow pace (a bit boring if you're familiar with heelhooks, but great if you're a beginner), but the later volumes are loaded with technique and details I haven't seen elsewhere. Overall a great and unique instructional.

H Kick Boxing Fundamentals by Henri Hooft
This instructional is very good. I have practiced muay thai/kickboxing for a while now and have found it beneficial. Some of the key details such as; throwing hooks and the details of the "shield and the roof" have been really useful. However if you are a total beginner, I believe this instructional won't be beneficial as the techniques shown, are shown very briefly.

The Butterfly Half Guard by Tom DeBlass
I have watched 12 different athlete's instructionals now and Tom is my favourite by a stretch, he covers every scenario and reaction from the opponent and systematically breaks the position down perfectly. Amazing value for money I will be buying more of his instructionals.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:sunglasses::hugging:Excellent instructional all round
The Body Lock Pass by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan was really methodical throughout and showed all possibilities and reactions to be expected and how to deal with them. With the additional rolling footage at the end this DVD is great value for money too. It's a pretty tricky pass in practice but with perseverance and watching back over Lachlan's teaching and troubleshooting you can quickly identify problems and fix them.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Mr. Danaher is by far one of my favourite coaches in sport of grappling. After excellent "Enter the System" series, he approached fundamentals of Gi BJJ to help athletes improve at a faster rate. That being said, when I bought this instructional I already knew that it will supercharge my fundamental understanding of disadvantageous positions and provide me with heuristic system how to escape them. No disappointment here, loads of useful information with very profound and elaborate details. If you want to review, refine and reinforce your defensive game - then even if you're higher belt - I definitely recommend it.

Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I bought all of Danaher's BJJ videos. The first one, I bought about ten months ago, then I bought other ones about one per each month. Whenever I bought and watched each of his video, I found my BJJ improving rapidly to the level I couldn't imagine before. Finally, with this one, I feel that my BJJ knowledge finally reached a full circle. Before starting to watch his videos, my knowledge on BJJ was in a bits-and-pieces mode. As a purple belt, I know some on pinning, guarding, passing, finishing, etc, but even when I know something on them, I didn't have a full picture on the mechanism of BJJ. Then, while I was watching Danaher's videos on these aspects, that big picture started to form in my mind. Finally, with this video on guard passing, I finally feel I know why I should move this or that way. Now, even when I lose, I understand why I could not but lose. Danaher put me on a solid rock regarding BJJ. I am so happy to get to know with his videos. His videos are solid, thorough, and methodical, and extremely easy to understand. I recommend his videos with all my heart. Buy them, and they will change your BJJ beyond your imagination.
