I am a white belt and found that defense is probably the best thing for me to learn at the moment. This series is great and very helpful. The explanations are clear and detailed. Provides a great foundation of escapes to build off of. It is a ton of information and will take a while for me to absorb it all, but I'm am completely satisfied with this purchase!

I got this a few months back and started to play around with some of the techniques and so far it worked great for me to slowly incoorperate some of Neils ideas into my game. After almost 6 months since i first got it I can say that the amount of Detail is very great and after trying some moves while rolling I can go back and check out what could have been the Problem. Everything is explained in a very detailed way so that you can practice it step by step with a Partner (as soon as this Virus Crisis is over) I would give 10/5 if I could because this fits my game very well and i can recommend everyone who wants some new Input and interpretations on the nogi halfguard game this DVD

The positions are explained well and he wastes no time on theory. A good addition for any level, however some details relevant to a new white belt may be missing.

Bernardo is a world class jiu jitsu practicioner, and also a world class instructor. His detailed instruction allowed me to take my favorite game to a new level almost instantly. He touched on several key areas I had been struggling with, and even specifically mentioned one issue that had been troubling me for over two years ( the knee cut pass). If you play half guard, you need to see this!!!!
