Insight
Enter The System Bundle by John Danaher
People complain that he talks too much but no one else takes the time to consider and elucidate the relationship between seemingly irreconcilably tiny details with a more preferred whole, to the level of a system.

love it.
Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Most guys at my gym don't invert. I already look bizarre to everyone else now that I'm trying to do some of the inversions that Danaher considers fundamental. I've watched all the general instructions from the videos but have not gotten to the specific instructions for specific responses to specific passes that fill the last few videos of this series. I just thought I would learn the general movements then use the specific defenses as things I look up as I troubleshoot difficult passers. In fact what I am focusing on every day right now is video 3, which is perhaps 9 of what JD considers the basic movements of guard retention in jiu jitsu (none of which I thought of previously as essential). Just drilling those a little bit for a week or two has changed my game, and I really just got started. I really see a lot of potential just based on integrating JD's general principles. I used to make fun of JD, but now I am eating crow--this stuff is gold.
I'm not surprised
Enter The System Bundle by John Danaher
There is no one better, John Danaher has brilliant observations and strategies for the sport. He's the best in the world imo.
Serious detail
Enter The System Bundle by John Danaher
So much detail! Much to learn
cool stuff / off-beat
Tactical Turtle by Neil Melanson
I'm only on the second video. Melanson has interesting takes, slightly off-beat from what most bjj people would teach. Lots of wrestling influence. Kind of perfect if you want something that most bjj people have not really seen before.
If you are a triangle specialist you need this
Invisible Triangle concepts by Braulio Estima
This guy teaches stuff your daddy never showed you about triangles. It's rare that you even find someone who is aware that reverse triangles exist. Estima is one of the world's leading experts on how to do these triangles at the highest level. Some of his ideas seem so easy when you watch the videos but I have found them hard to pull off, like what he calls the "gubber guard" triangles. The biggest insight that probably helped me the most was the relationship between reverse triangles and kimuras. Like I said, if you are a triangle specialist you have to study Braulio Estima if you have any self-respect. He's one of the leading lights.
Great stuff
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Exhaustive details to round out hg game no matter what your style
completely changed my game
Knee Lever John Wayne Sweep Engineering by Adam Wardzinski
This video really made me much more dangerous from half guard. I had watched another video that got me started on the giggler sweep and I was able to catch a lot of people, but this is more powerful than the other video series. I still use what I learned in this video but I have moved on to other techniques I am trying to apply from half guard. But really I became more dangerous once I learned this. It's well organized, it's possible to study it systematically. I really like Wardzinski's teaching style also.
cool ideas
The Triangle Machine by Craig Jones
I use the mounted triangle from this instructional routinely. It's awesome. I've used it on good people. Imo it's better than the Rener mounted triangle technique. I haven't hit the flying triangle from this video ever (yet). Granted I don't usually get lined up for uchimatas, much less jump my leg on the guy's back--but I should because I will be the toast of the town if I can do a flying triangle. I use his fundamental techniques from this video, and I can tap people without even locking my legs (at least during drills, I don't believe I've ever tried it live, and it's not necessary anyway, it's just good to know, for technique). I haven't watched this video again in probably over a year, and it's only from reviewing the table of contents that I realized how valuable this video has already been to me.
the goat

Knee Lever John Wayne Sweep Engineering by Adam Wardzinski

awesome
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Half guard is what I have been focusing on. Imo don't spin your wheels working on closed guard. Learn whatever they teach in class, try to be adequate. But if you want more bang for your buck focus on other guards. Half guard is awesome. Danaher covers things I have studied from other people but gives added detail or he focuses on different elements. I've watched only the first of 8 videos and I already have things I expect to use to inflict my will on my training partners tonight.

Master The Move: The Shoulder Crunch Series by John Danaher
John Danaher´s teaching is amazing. All the attention to details makes it extremely easy to understand the core concepts and how to put it in action. For me, the shoulder crunch techniques presented to be absolutely efficient even having bad flexibility and mobility and also a torn ACL. It has been helping me against younger and bigger training partners and helped me opening a vast attacks opportunities instead of relying only in a deffensive guard.
