Worth Checking Out
Lockdown 101: Quickstart Guide To Success by Cameron Mellott
This is really well-made and incredibly helpful for someone with no prior knowledge of the lockdown position. The instructor does a great job breaking things down step by step, making it easy to follow along. The video covers a ton of sweeps and submissions, showing just how effective the lockdown can be when used correctly. The instructor has a slightly feminine way of speaking and explaining things, which gives the teaching style a unique feel. It might stand out to some but at least the details very clear. Definitely worth checking out if you want to expand your game.

Old Guy
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Submission Escapes by Bernardo Faria
Like my other reviews of Bernardo’s old guy series, big thumbs up on this video. I appreciate how he can string together a series of potential escapes from a particular submission, giving us older Jiu Jitsu athletes options. Definitely worth having this video in available to go to in order to work on things. I come back to it regularly after rolling, especially when I’ve been submitted to see where I ******* up the escape. I always find I did not think of all the options that Bernardo presents when in the heat of battle.
Clear, useful, systematic: A value for all levels
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Positional Escapes by Bernardo Faria
I have several of Bernardo's instructionals, and they have all been good. But this is one of the best. His explanations are clear, the video quality is high, and the progression is systematic (building upon previously learned skills, both reinforcing what you learned and expanding upon them). As a 44 year old, smaller stature white belt, this has already been useful at frustrating younger, more competent grapplers.
