Aaron is an excellent teacher
The 2 on 1 Closed Guard System & Beyond by Aaron Benzrihem
I’m only through the first 3rd of the instructional but Aaron has so many gems playing this gripping combo from your closed guard. It’s relatively easy to ****** and people seem perplexed when you take these grips which in my eyes immediately puts them into defensive mode. It’s a highly effective gripping strategy for controlling strong people as I’ve seen. Marcos Tinoco originally gave this 2 on 1 strategy idea to me on YouTube which let me to Aaron’s series on this as I wanted to explore it deeper. Looking forward to completing it and using it more as my go to when in closed guard.
Complete Open Guard System
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Open Guard vol 2: Sweeps and Reversals by John Danaher
If you want to develop a very dangerous bottom open guard this instructional will give you the knowledge you need. Of course it’s what you do training wise with the knowledge that matters. But if you practice and train these techniques your results will be immediate and highly effective.

Really nice back attacks from several different positions.
Great drills to start with
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
Although nothing beats drilling and rolling in class, these solo drills are an excellent way to better prepare your body for future sessions. These drills allow me to stay focused on improving my technique, without having to wreck my central nervous system by getting smashed into the ground. As John says in the video "everyday is an opportunity to get better at jiu jitsu" For someone new to the sport (and it being a free series), this is a great thing for any practitioner to add to their toolbox.
