The Daisy Fresh Curriculum: White Belt Stripe 1 by Heath Pedigo
Through the years I purchased tons of instructionals. This is, hands down, one of the best i ever bought. Fist, professor Pedigo is simply a great teacher. He has a great understanding of the fighting mechanics, something like professor Danaher or professor Akins. Second, he is amazing in explaining: not too verbous, he gives all the needed information. Three, teaching method: having two white belts trying on each other and correct them in real time is a bold choice. He can do that only because he has the great knowledge he has. Fourth: choice of the techniques. There is an holistic approach: if you get a good grasp on all of them you will have a well rounded game. Plus, they are perfect to implement bjj body mechanics (e.g how to move in the guard, how to sit, etc). I never been into Daisy Fresh stuff… but now I understand the reasons behind the success. Hats off, just waiting for the blue belt stuff.

The Modern Butterfly Guard No Gi by Jon Satava
Satava's butterfly instructional takes you from stance to grips to sweeps to attacks in a guided way that begins with foundational content and adds layers of complexity. It's a far more complete product than Marcelo Garcia's, and has a stronger emphasis on basics than Wardzinski's. Satava is a gifted educator.

This technique does work for all levels... if u practice many times and u catch the deatils for tarikoplata that can be really good weapon and alternative for north south position and kimura grips...

Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older or Less Athletic - Bottom Game by John Danaher
A large part of this video is a slowed down version of Danaher's Half Guard system. "Slowed down" is what you need when you get to a certain age. It's just as effective but it takes into consideration that the student/viewer isn't a twenty-one year old athlete. Another great section is about surviving pins. Not escaping, surviving. Great stuff to keep in mind when you're getting smashed.

SAG Headlocks Fundamentals and Finishes by Nolan Baker
This is one of the best videos I've found on this site. Very clear, accessible explanations of some critical details that seem so obvious once you hear them, but which I'd never thought about before. The sag headlock was actually my go-to move in high school wrestling three decades ago and I had some success with it without really understanding the mechanics, but I would have had a lot more if I'd known the material in this video. As a now-middle-aged BJJ hobbyist, I'm glad to have it now.

The Essential Shin To Shin System by Shawn Williams
I struggled with shin to shin for years before I watched these videos, and now I sweep with ease. I'd been using shin to shin to try to spin to sweeps - Shawn Williams prefers pulling to spinning. As soon as I started using his pulling method my opponents just started falling over. He repeats techniques only as often as necessary to point out important details, and the multiple camera angles are so helpful. There is such an abundance of detail, it's amazing. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves butterfly but gets frustrated when their opponents stand up. Many of the techniques are suitable for all levels - whether you want to enter the legs or if you prefer to simply sweep and get on top.
