This instructional is not good in my opinion. I was hoping for concepts and true instruction but this is just showing endless amount of quick wristlocks from various places. I’ve purchased a lot of BJJFanatics instructionals and this is hands down my least favorite. Sorry Pete

Nicky Rod's Slay the Hand Fight: Offensive and & Counter Offensive Hand Fighting by Nick Rodriguez
Nicky provided a well-organized instructional on no-gi hand fighting. The material was easy to follow and the purpose of each technique presented was easy to understand. After a short time of studying the material, I can mentally drill the techniques and can combine them with the material I already know. Now all I need to do is drill them to them second nature.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I have been struggling with side control escapes and was wondering why my elbow escape wouldn't work in advanced mounts. This helped me understand. The way John Teaches the fundamentals stays in your head. You can remember the principles to help you get out of positions that you never learn how to escape out of. This is so detailed and made John my favorite instructor.

Ultimate Armlock Escapes by Henry Akins
This is one of the best escape videos. I kept getting belly down armlocked and was scared to roll to escape. Well this showed me how to escape safely and a different way then what my instructor taught us. I watch this while driving on my way to class and I been escaping the most dangerous armlocks. I have his choke escapes too. I am always looking to buy one of Henry's Dvds on escapes. Can't wait to see what he puts out next.

As always from Lachlan Giles, this instructional is excellent. The armbar used to be one of my least favorite/sought after submissions. Now it was one of my go-to subs. The level of detail is top-notch and it moves at a great pace that keeps you engaged from start to finish!

Ultimate Choke Escapes by Henry Akins
I have felll in love with this teaching style. I escaped a Bellydown RNC. My training partner let go cause they felt a double wristlock on the way I escaped. I love the way Henry teaches and I have to say this is one of the best escape series I have ever watched. If you buy this please buy the Armlock escapes. This has made the myth of there is nothing you can do false.

STF Attack Series by Erik Paulson
Great instruction from Paulson here. As I am at a new club and still a bit of a BJJ newbie, it wouldn’t be kosher for me to use this in rolls there yet. However, I have a 20 year old son who who is a hoss that does BJJ at another club, and I caught him in this in an impromptu roll at the house. He never saw it coming, the STF worked right out of the box! A great weapon to add to your BJJ / grappling arsenal!
