Special "K" Guard by Neil Melanson
We need a sequel to this. K control offers so many movement options. I do not like the guard but with an open system like this I have come to love the bottom game. It is a different take on guard work and has been one of the sources of success for me on the mat.

This is one of the easiest to understand and most comprehensive instructionals I have ever purchased. It is easy to understand and cover virtually every position that can occur in and from halfguard. You literally think of any situation from halfguard and look it in the anthology.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Oui oui my grappling boi
Filthy Cross Body Attacks by Neil Melanson
Phenomenal stuff, have been a big fan of Neil's instructionals for a long time and he's done it again with another quality series. I'd recommend this or any other of his stuff to hardcores, flithy casuals and the like. For me personally he is one of few people that has both the breadth of knowledge of all things grappling but also has the unique ability to articulate and contextualize what is to be believed best practices in the art of man touchy man time. His style is easily implement able and doesn't require the athleticism or flexibility that other grappling games do. Plus seem like a good dude. Support one of the unsung grappling legends.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:A must buy
Make Z Guard Great Again by Craig Jones

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Self defense

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Awesome Instructional for any age
Jiu Jitsu for Old Guys: Over / Under Pressure Passing System by Bernardo Faria
This instructional gives a comprehensive approach to pressure passing/passing from the over under. Bernardo offers a wealth of insight and technique, and after studying the material in this video, the over under pass has been a welcome addition to my game and will continue to be as I age.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Best way to learn 10p warmups
10th Planet Fundamentals by JM Holland & Zach Maslany
You can find video of the 10p warmups on social media, but JM and Zach teach the details of them as if you were a new student in a 10th Planet gym. Awesome content, and these warmups will help any jiu jitsu practitioner improve. My favorite part is that you drill both transitions and moves.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Definitely recommend!
The Essential Shin To Shin System by Shawn Williams

Great instruction and effective techniques. Would recommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:This is a good video
Never Get Submitted Again by Noel Danforth
This is a good video for conservative escapes. You will not see anything too fancy here, but that is its value. The escapes are generally presented in stages: early to late. Noel is quite good on basic arm escapes in classic positions such as the key-lock. Overall, a good value for beginners and some advanced players who want to know good solid escapes or refresh their skills.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent Instruction
Pressure Passing and Top Game by Rafael Lovato
Excellent DVD. Focuses on passing from the headquarters position while maximizing pressure on the opponent and maintaining base to stabilize the position and then attacking. Given its' focus on headquarters, it's not as comprehensive as some videos that try to cover passes from every possible position, but the content is excellent on the passes he does cover. He gives you the detailed tips you need to make the positions and passes work, shows you how, and when to switch between passes and explains why. My only critique would be that I would have liked to have seen more of his submissions from mount. I've seen some of his older content in which he gives great details on a number of submissions, and it would be great to have seen updated details on these here. I won't take off a star for it though because you can clearly see what's included from the table of contents, it lives up to what it promises, and is very effective. You will occasionally start tapping people from pressure in mount and make people far more uncomfortable under your mount following what he shows.
That wonderful system
Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
Is one of the best product about the back I have ever seen
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Just fantastic!
Filthy Cross Body Attacks by Neil Melanson
Neil does it again! Another well put together instructional, packed full of concepts, strategies and of course just filthy techniques. The step over sequence a lone is worth the money. Can't wait to see Neil's guard passing instructional when it comes out because these will merge seamlessly. If your reading this and have not purchased a Melanson instructional yet, well this is as good a place as any to start. Embrace the filth.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very good for a beginner
Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I’m new to BJJ and this course has helped me immensely. I love his emphasis on concepts in his teaching style. I have to understand the “big picture” before I can get my head around the details. He does an outstanding job with that. He still gives an enormous amount of details so there’s something for everyone regardless of learning style.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great!

Finishing Finishers by JM Holland & Zach Maslany
Not dissapointed. After going through JM and Zach's 10p warmup instructional, I was eager to get more content from them. They have a great teaching style, and present some worthwhile details and nuggets in this instructional. I just wish Grace would keep quiet and stop stealing the show.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great Instructional

Really great ways to take and hold the back. It cover everything you need from white to blue belt in terms of obtaining and keeping control. Especially love that standing back takes. They have certainly improved my options from standup scrambles.

Stop Drop Monoplata by Chad Keel
Great content. Fun video, cool options that grow beyond omoplata. Nice that it shows no gi as well as gi. Awesome to add another lesser known submission option. Can’t wait to try it during live training.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The best lapel guard system
Mastering The Lapel Guard Volume 3: The Galaxy Guard Advanced by Braulio Estima
We can learn the best lapel guard system from Prof. Braulio Estima. I think this video is much better than the dvds released during his active World Champion era. He is still studying techniques. And now he reveals techniques that he didn't reveal during his active career.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Ciaran L
Really useful video, especially for beginners to BJJ, but all levels can benefit from this, as you're going to get put in a choke at some point in training or competing! I also like that it covers the escapes from different stages, so if you're early you can try one of them, not just wait until the choke is fully on, where you often learn to defend from, but it's always a lot harder to deal with by then. Good stuff as always from Dinu!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent!!!
Sambo: The Top Game - A Blue Print For "Smeshing" by Khabib Nurmagomedov
This is an excellent tutorial. It is short, sweet, and straight to the point. There is a night and day difference between my takedowns and my opponents.
