Good cradle insight
Systematic Cradles and Pinning Combinations by Bo Nickal
A good insight to a wrestlers view of the cradle. Definitely some useful details but does not link into submissions and focuses on the pin.

Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
I enjoyed it. I haven’t went through the whole thing, but I’m excited to add it to my off days training when I’m resting from actual roll days in the gym.
Great Series
Scottish Necktie System by Craig McIntosh
Great instructional. Coming from mma/wrestling, I am always getting to front head. This system has given me a much more diverse game in that position. Very well taught and has elevated my game. Would for sure recommend!

Gary Tonon's Escape Series
Can't Keep Me Down Escaping Pins by Garry Tonon
Whatever Coach Tonon says to do you do it. no questions asked in my opinion. He's done all the hard work for all of us in figuring this stuff out. why try to reinvent the wheel. absolutely fantastic and the way he explains things is very easy. HIGHLY recommend.
Advanced Basics for Passing
Fundamentals of Guard Passing: Breaking Their Guard - Wall to Wall by Mikey Musumeci
Mikey shows all the little things that make passes work. Although he goes over many common passes, he showed many things I'd never seen before.
A new twist on an old classic
Master The Move: The American Lock by John Danaher
I first learned the Americana from the Gracie brothers and their free stuff. I liked it because it was easy to remember and execute, but it was useless against higher level belts. With Danaher's insights, I have twice caught higher level belts with this so far, and they were not ready for it. This instructional gets a bit repetitive, but it is very insightful.

Systematically Attacking the Turtle Position Gordon Ryan
Systematically Attacking the Turtle Position by Gordon Ryan
Systematically Attacking the Turtle Position by Gordon Ryan turns one of Jiu-Jitsu’s most frustrating stalemates into a launchpad for domination. I used to stare at a turtled opponent thinking, “Now what?”—now I see free real estate on their back and a chance to make them deeply uncomfortable. Gordon covers everything—from dismantling posture, to securing hooks, to locking in high-percentage finishes—using his trademark step-by-step logic that feels like a cheat code. Even at 50 (with joints that creak louder than the gym door), I was able to plug several concepts straight into my game. What stood out Shows how to control, trap, and finish without speed or athleticism. Perfect for older grapplers who prefer boa-constrictor pressure over wild scrambles. Transitions are smooth and merciless—you’ll feel like you’re violating wildlife laws. Subtle details on leg placement and weight distribution instantly tightened my attacks. If you’re tired of opponents stalling in turtle, this series gives you a clear, ruthless system to punish that strategy—and turn the turtle into your favorite position to attack from. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to move methodically and finish with certainty.
Great concepts
Fundamentals of Guard Passing: Breaking Their Guard - Wall to Wall by Mikey Musumeci
This instructional changed the way I look at guard passing. It was great for strategy and I enjoyed the different ways of beating frames. I wish there were more options and troubleshooting, but it was good for an overall passing game.

Movement matters
The Budokon Mobility System by Cameron Shayne and Xande Ribeiro
As an older grappler I found this very helpful. You are as old as you move. I’m not sure how many specific BJJ techniques I can show you that directly relate to the movements demonstrated but I think the movements related broadly to everything we do as a human. A better more efficient human.

Knee bar for the W
The Kneebar Masterclass by Jarbem Pacheco
This is exactly what I hoped it would be, comprehensive system for a devastating knee bar game. I've been going down the knee bar rabbit hole as of late, have most of the popular knee bar instructionlas, Criag's, Bendys, if it's knee bar related I probably have it. Jarbems is as good as the others if not better, you can tell he's put a lot of time into developing this game. I highly recommend getting this, you will not get a lot of of this.
