Great Value Sambo Instructional
Effective Sambo Attacks by Andrei Kazusenok
Very underrated for the price. This instructional covers a wide range of legit Sambo, including throws, some ashi waza, ne waza, leg locks, and even no-gi. It feels like real, practical Sambo rather than just theory, and the combinations and techniques shown are genuinely useful. I’m grateful to Coach Andrei for sharing his knowledge and putting in the effort to create such a solid instructional.
Front headlock system
The Front Headlock System by John Danaher

Enter month 4 on my journey and someone recommended me this vid/coach. Definitely informative.
Spida!
Everyday Porrada Spider Guard by Romulo Barral
Great video from a legend in the game
Concise and effective!
Grip Like a World Champion 2.0 by Jimmy Pedro
I was super excited to buy this, but then was disappointed due to it's length: an hour and a half. I was used to 9-hour Danaher instructionals, so I was worried only an hour and a half couldn't cover much; however, Pedro's teaching is concise and very effective. After just 30 minutes of video, I dramatically improved by gi gripping. I'm super satisfied with this!
Flawless
The Filthy Kimura by Neil Melanson
Great information and presentation. Neil's instructional videos are always fantastic, but for me this one is a standout. No b/s...just practical and instantly useful information that improved my kimura game considerably and gave me a slight advantage as an older novice.
Good crucifixions
Crucifire by Bradley Schneider
Good crucifixions. I think they're effective.

Battle Tested Pressure Passing by Bernardo Faria

Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older Or Less Athletic Bundle by John Danaher
As a practitioner who spent two years battling cancer this is amazing for me. My body became broken and I don’t move like I once did. This allows me to train still and be effective while I work on getting strength back.

Over under pressure
Jiu Jitsu for Old Guys: Over / Under Pressure Passing System by Bernardo Faria
Bernardo Faria’s Jiu Jitsu for Old Guys: Over Under Passing is a simple, pressure-based system built around efficiency and control. He focuses on tight positioning, patience, and repeatable mechanics, making the pass reliable even without athleticism. Not flashy, but very effective if you like a slow, crushing style.

Jiu-Jitsu For Old Guys: Guard Retention by Bernardo Faria
It’s great, definitely gears towards the 1/ guard retention, which if you know Bernardo’s stuff or have followed his old guy stuff, it should be expected. That being said lots of this is transferable to all aspects of the game

Half guard and Close Guard
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys Bottom Game: Half Guard and Closed Guard by Bernardo Faria
I'm a control base player in my jiu jitsu. I follow danaher alot and I love hoe Bernardo teaches his techniques that easily flow into what i am already doing in my game. Im able to add more details and a different style to my game that I can and will eventually blend into my own. Great series!
Bernardo is The Man
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Submission Escapes by Bernardo Faria
Bernardo always gives such great examples and practical techniques that work together in a coherent system. Each video within a chapter builds on the last one so you have context. Really great instructional.
Great Course
BJJ Fanatics Ultimate Submissions
Great course with excellent flow. John Danaher is truly one of the best grappling coaches ever, extremely technical.
Fantastic Instructional
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Submission Escapes by Bernardo Faria
This instructional goes over a ton of different positions and submissions from those spots, and how to deconstruct the submission in order to create a defense. With most of the submissions, you either get multiple options based on reads your opponent is giving you, or you get multiple stages of the defense (for example, defending an armbar when you're defending well or when your arm is already isolated). There's also an old guy there to ask the questions you may have. The only minor thing I had with this video is there were a few details that I missed because of the angle chosen. But with most of the techniques and most of the details, they make sure to give the right angle so you can see what's happening. I've already leveled up my submission defense from this video series. And I've learned some things about the submissions themselves by reconstructing them. Overall I'm very pleased with this instructional!
Great instructional
Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
Love this whole instructional. To this day it covers techniques and concepts I've never seen other people cover. Gordon gets into more detail than just about anyone, except Danaher. Worth the money.
Mechanics of No Gi Chokes
The Mechanics Of No-Gi Chokes by Jordan Preisinger
Great details on some common chokes
Golden
Jiu-Jitsu For Old Guys: Guard Retention by Bernardo Faria
All Bernardo's videos are gold. Thanks Bernardo!
Master The Move: The Shoulder Crunch Series
Master The Move: The Shoulder Crunch Series by John Danaher
Just awesome. So much details in "just" such a move. Three main locks will be covered and transitions to other positions and locks (submission). Thanks Mr. Danaher!
Good to See Bernardo Faria as a Teacher
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Submission Escapes by Bernardo Faria
It was great to see Bernardo Faria in his “I am a world champion” mode. He is still incredibly cordial and nice, but we should not mistake his humility for lack of ferocity! He is an excellent teacher and I learned a lot. Good to see some gi specific escapes as well.
Very good!
Master The Move: The American Lock by John Danaher
Danaher shows ways to apply versions of the Americana that I didn’t realize were possible vs legit opponents. Highly recommended!
Always good
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
