Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt Requirements by Roy Dean
I'm currently a blue belt with a few stripes and working my way to the next step in the journey. This has been a really good resource. Good techniques, but focusses more on multiple attacks that chain together from each position. The idea is to see and think more on possible systems rather than single techniques. Really good. My only criticism is that the video and audio quality are slightly sub-par (lots of echoe). And, this video is also not viewable through the BJJ Fanatics app. Only in the browser.
I love this technique

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The most fundamental standing no gi/wrestling concepts you need
Perfect Position: Becoming The Stronger Wrestler by Ebed Jarrell
Very important fundamental content. I was learning overtime myself how important posture, positioning and not getting overextended and broken down was in wrestling/no gi standup. I saw this instructional and just from the content and philosophy it was an instant purchase and knew it was information my game needed right now. I have watched it all once and am very pleased with it. I like this Ebed Jarrell as an instructor very much and its already making positive changes in my stand up and helping me be more comfortable, save energy, and know how and when to attack better in standing position.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:I haven’t seen every JJ
Systematically Attacking From Closed Guard by Gordon Ryan
I haven’t seen every JJ instructional in the world but Gordon’s vids are probably the best videos I have watched. The pacing is good, the details are good. There’s plenty of little nuggets that you can immediately plug into your game and there’s broader stroke concepts and techniques that you can work and digest over time. What can’t be overstated is the value of a true system to deal with various guard concepts. Lots of great information here!

Off With Their Head: The Arm Triangle by Neil Melanson
I love this submission but wanted to learn how to apply it properly instead of cranking. This plus some Ryan Hall tutorials on arm triangles have greatly helped me make this my main attack as a white belt. The games and different ways of getting to an arm triangle has been really great. I love the kesa gatame option! Easy to understand technicalities and I still go back to the videos from time to time and discover things I didn't absorb before.

The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
I'm a 2 stripe white belt and was unsure about buying a course so early in my journey. However it has been amazing with such detail that I know I will be using it for years. Not to mention how it has already helped my game, Lachlan provides way more than you could expect under the title of halfguard. I have become more offensive from seated, understanding grips and distance when using various techniques, as well as troubleshooting and live roll footage. It's an amazing guide with lots of quality material.
