Understanding The Distance From Guard by Gui Mendes
I wish I had had this video when I started! Mendes offers a systematic approach, allowing to connect the techniques. Besides, his game is as effective as beautiful, and much less complex than I Would have thought.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:wink::hugging:A ton of battle tested content.
The Escape Artist Series Part 1 by Adam Bradley
Adam Bradley covers a lot of different positions that other instructionals neglect to mention. While you won't find five escapes from every position, or the masterful little details you might see in in the instructional of an older blackbelt, you will find what Adam actually DOES in each of these situations. The fact that Adam learns from and trains with Andre Galvao, at Atos HQ in San Diego, in one of the world's best and most competitive schools/training camps, carries a lot of weight with me. I know that there is no bs here. This instructional has given me one or two options for a lot of bad positions that I simply never had answers for before. A very solid instructional.

Diamond Concept is awesome. The exercises are great, the concept changes how I think about escapes, and control. I highly recommend, put this in my tool bag for next roll

Welcome to Submission Land by Ryan Scialoia
This is the very best video on Submissions I have ever seen. Filled with powerful information that is simplified no matter what your level. I Love this video, I give it an A+ ... Perfection !!!

Systematic Submission Dilemmas: High Level Triangle and Leg Lock Combos by Craig Jones
Quite relevant and practical approach of instruction.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:An smarter mount position!
The Peak Mount by Waldo Zapata
this mount system is brilliant and will help you not just secure the score but also gives you easy access to a bunch of submissions. your opponent will find it difficult to escape this mount based on body mechanics principles. no hip bumping moves or half guard threats will work on the peak mount. Highly recommend it!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great details around gripping and gi use.
Escapes from Everywhere by Bernardo Faria
This series is a great value. Bernardo explains the techniques clearly. He relays lots of great little details around gripping and gi use. This still my "go to" instructional for reviewing and improving my gi escapes.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Get tapped less. Period.
Ultimate Armlock Escapes by Henry Akins
This instructional has changed my game more drastically and more quickly than probably any of the other instructionals with which I have worked (and that's probably more than 50 over the last 12 years) Fair warning: the Akins Choke Escapes instructional has had a similar impact and will receive a similar review. Henry Akins understanding of armlocks, how they work, and the positioning necessary makes it possible to for him to escape positions that were always "game over" for me before. His kimura escape from guard and the "forehead structure" detail in his armbar escape, alone, would be worth the cost of this instructional.

Ultimate Choke Escapes by Henry Akins
This instructional has changed my game more drastically and more quickly than probably any of the other instructionals I've worked with (and that's probably more than 50 over the last 12 years) Fair warning: the Akins Armlock Escapes instructional has had a similar impact and will receive a similar review. Henry Akins understanding of chokes, how they work, and the positioning necessary makes it possible to for him to escape positions that were always "game over" for me before. I now review (there is a lot here) and drill these escapes, especially his escapes for all types of guillotines, very regularly. I've shared many details with training partners; we often laugh about how simple and effective they are.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Amazing unique content
Leg Pummeling Mastery by Mikey Musumeci
Mikey explains concepts that are vital for lower weights in no-gi and useful for heavy weights. He shows how to enter berimbolos, leg entanglements and even how to turn your opponents attacks into back takes. This is info I've never seen anywhere else. This compliments his no-gi berimbolo set and acts as a companion to it.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very good

Feet To Floor: Volume 1 Fundamental Standing Skills by John Danaher
With my original training in karate, I was keen to better understand the standing side of BJJ and control the decent to the floor and start the ground game in a better position (just makes so much sense to me). This video spends a lot of time going over the precursor skills. Some of these I picked up very quickly with my background in standup sparring (e.g. stance, distance and movement). Others took a bit longer (e.g. removing strong grips and lining up the right position). All these are talked through in a lot of detail and demonstrated several times from different angles, which was very useful. The video also helped me quickly identify and exploit 'gifts' (i.e. to capitalize on mistakes made by training partners). Even before I finished the course I increased my success with takedowns and had a much clearer understanding of what I was trying to do. I am also more effective at countering attempts to take me down by reading my opponents better. I thoroughly recommend this video for anyone looking to develop there stand up skills.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Don’t mess with the Ground Marshal
The Ground Marshal Half Guard by Neil Melanson
Melanson’s no-nonsense, outside-the-box approach to grappling and the half guard game is awesome, and his teaching style makes it easy to wrap your head around his killer techniques.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:COYOTE LET’S GO
The Coyote Half Guard No Gi by Lucas Leite
Lucas LEITE is a game changer. After watching this instructional I could improve my half guard and understand it better. It work well
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Must Buy for WB
Basics To Advanced: Open Guard Engagement by Aaron Benzrihem
Honestly believe this is a must buy for WB. Aaron takes a much different approach here and approaches the entire DVD from a theoretical perspective. That is something I desperately needed in my game. I was too into trying to follow DVD's as step by step and when confronted with something not on the DVD, my brain would just short circuit and I'd be stuck. This DVD helped me push my mind into more generalities and concepts. Highly recommend.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Help to see the pass
Basics To Advanced: The Leg Drag by Aaron Benzrihem
Great instructional. Aaron does a great job of effectively communicating complex tasks in a digestible fashion. I myself am a coach, (coach youth ice hockey) and can appreciate what an underrated quality that is. Lots of great stuff to build upon in this one. I have watched some AOJ videos and the concept of using the leg drag to help build or set-up other passes and feel like this instructional fits into that mindset.

How to Pass Guards Quickly and Easily Using Leg Attacks by Craig Jones
Smooth Jiu Jitsu, Highly recommended
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Stack with Aaron's Knee Shield
Basics To Advanced: The Half Butterfly Guard by Aaron Benzrihem
Combine this DVD with the Knee shield and your guard game is going to get better. Understanding the Half Butterfly in greater details allows you to access it with more ease when applying things like the low knee shield. Loved this one,
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Worth the money
The Boogeyman Darce by Richie Martinez
Martinez did a good job when he out this out, it's biggest strength is probably that it's so short. He puts a lot of good details in a clear and concise manner so you don't have to worry about watching it for hours and hours just to pick up something useful. It took me maybe 30 minutes of watching to implement this into my game and I got multiple subs in one night via peruvian/Japanese necktie
Response from BJJ FanaticsNice!:skin-tone-3::clap::skin-tone-3::clap::skin-tone-3:I Love it !
The Triangle Machine by Craig Jones
Short, sweet and brilliantly detailed
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:How Instructionals Should All Be Made
Basics To Advanced: The Low Knee Shield by Aaron Benzrihem
I honestly cannot express how important this dvd was for my game. How this is laid out is perfect. Explaining the importance of frames, the why, how to tactically look at things instead of a step by step tutorial. All of this allowed me to get myself unstuck in my guard game. Once I understood distance, control, and setting, I was able to more freely move through techniques. Aaron always gives a no nonsense approach and has a great way of breaking all of this down to smaller components and ended it all with higher level strategic ideas which I thought helped me a lot, because I tend to want to approach these DVD's as step by step tutorials.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great instrucional
