Increased my knowledge of BJJ fundamentals 100 percent!
Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
This is an amazing educational video reference especially for beginners like me. Before purchasing the video, I was often lost on the scope of the fundamentals that I should start with. After I got Bernardo Faria's Foundations of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, it definitely pointed me in the right direction. It increased my knowledge of the fundamentals and allowed me to understand the techniques and movements more comprehensively. This is definitely essential for those starting out on their BJJ journey. I find myself more confident now in different training situations because of this series. Cheers!

10th Planet Fundamentals by JM Holland & Zach Maslany
I’m a brown belt living in rural Western Australia and am miles away from a 10th planet. I’ve always been interested in the system and love the EBI format of submission grappling. I am only up to B but loving the way Sir Eddie has mixed wrestling technique with the Machado jujitsu to create this specialised no-gi style. These boys break down the warm ups with there own tricks and tips to make it easy to understand how to perfect this system. If you want to get good at no-gi fast this is the instructional to teach you how your body can move to be bad ***. “Look in to it that’s all I’m saying”

The Berimbolo System Part 1: The Foundation by Mikey Musumeci
Awesome instructional from a pioneer of the berimbolo system. It's rare to encounter someone with even a basic understanding of the berimbolo as a move, now you can learn the berimbolo as an entire system from the master. A must have if you want to have a modern game!

Feet To Floor Volume 2 by John Danaher
This series has increased my stand up confidence tremendously, the attacks are now limitless without much risk; all of the mistakes i was making are addressed by Professor Danaher who as many of you know is so detailed and has a unique way to making it make sense to everyone. I encourage anyone who thinks they are lacking or wants to sharpen their stand up game to purchase and pay attention to the small details to better your game 👍:muscle:

Rubber Guard: The Meathook by Brandon McCaghren
This is a great instructional, especially the focus on the general fundamentals of the position at the beginning and the key details of specific techniques later on. Brandon is great and his explanations are super clear. I definitely feel more confident trying to hit the moves while rolling, remembering his points about angles and positioning. The painful face of the assistant is testament to the effectiveness of the techniques! Also, there is no 10th Planet in my city and I will never get taught these moves at my gym, so this is 100% worth the investment.

Fundamental Armbar Mechanics by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
I brought the arm bar and guillotine instructional and over the weeks of trying all the different techniques i can confidently say it not only improved and taught me brilliant techniques but really improved my general understanding of jiu jitsu. I was a 2 stripe white belt before purchasing and now I’ve been promoted to blue belt. Cant recommend enough the improvements I made in such a short period of time is unbelievable
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Real complete Program
Side Control Dominance by Andre Galvao
I love the Program. It's really a complete Side Control Instructional and leaves no questions. Andre gives so many informations about principles of controlling, how to react on opponents trys to recover his guard. If you can do every move on the instructional in real sparring, you are invincible once you get the side control. He also talks about stategic times of attack. How long do you have to hold the side control? When is the correct time to start a submition? When do you habe to change posture? Every of these questions get answered.

This is by far the best solution I've seen yet to BJJ's deficient takedown arsenal. Quick, dirty, inexpensive, and no-nonsense!

Finishing The Single Leg Takedown: The Art of Chain Wrestling by Cain Velasquez
love his philosophy about conservation of energy and applying takedowns for heavy weight guys and how it relates to MMA. Perhaps the only instructional that I've seen that addresses this aspect. Not the number of moves but the quality that makes this dvd excellent.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The Cobra Choke by Mike Demko
Huge fan of this presentation. I've been grappling for over 30 years submission grappling for over 20 and Mike Demko has taken a basic wrestling technique and expanded it into what is almost an entire mini system of grappling in and of itself. Really simple and easy to comprehend techniques that are high percentage and obvious from the instruction, battle tested. Don't sleep on this. almost three hours of to the point, easy to understand, no nonsense instruction. I learned a lot that I didn't know about one of my favorite techniques.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Super underrated
Fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Escapes Gi & No Gi by Lachlan Giles
I bought the half guard passing and half guard anthology before - I think the way Lachlan organizes his instructionals is super effective for the learning process. One of the most technical instructors out there but he focuses on the most important stuff - there's no "fat" on his explanation or overly complicated diagrams like some others. In addition to that he adds some really important building blocks that help these techniques but also any position. Some of the stuff covered in this DVD I haven't thought about since I was a fresh white belt. It's almost embarrassing to ask about this stuff to instructors or training partners but I see it in my own rolls and even in ibjjf black belt matches now that I know what to look for. It may not be sexy to focus on escapes instead of a new guard or passing DVD but if having an effective game is important to you I would absolutely pick this one up. Hope to see more from this series in the future.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Highly recommend for anyone interested in rubber guard and 10p system
Rubber Guard: The Meathook by Brandon McCaghren
I've been interested in the 10P system and already been playing around with lockdown and electric chair. I thought rubber guard would be beyond me because I'm not super flexible. But then I came across some of Brandon's content on Youtube and found his teaching simple and effective. In this instructional he goes above and beyond in introducing the rubber guard system, but also gives fine details which makes it safe and possible to play even without being super flexible. Granted you should work on your flexible to realise the true potential of rubber guard, but it can be played even with limited flexibility by getting the right angles. What was a pleasant surprise is he goes over some other 10p moves which flow from rubber guard which is an added bonus.

The Turtle Guard Revisited by Eduardo Telles
the more and more i play turtle the more and more i understand this dvd. Telles starts you with open guard transitions to turtle and regarding for a reason. it was lost on me but there is a reason he is the turtle master. now i see and implement everything from this dvd. at the end of the dvd he summarizes everything from the 2 prevelant turtle positions which makes life really simple. must have for a turtle player
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Amazing content! Much better a series than you'd expect.
Feet To Floor: Volume 1 Fundamental Standing Skills by John Danaher
Before Buying this series, I thought to myself that how could a man create 10+ hours worth of content based on a game that's almost 99% groundwork. So I decided I won't be buying. I headed over to Bernardo Faria's Channel and there he interviewed John about his new DVD Series that's called "Feet to Floor". There, John explained how most black belts even don't know these things, cause in most MMA/BJJ Gyms, you're trained heavily or almost totally on ground, you barely know stuff. I knew Flashy stuff like Imanari Roll and things but not the fundamentals behind them. This course will come as a gem to you if you are at the very top of your game. I bought the second series too! Being a black belt, I can tell you that Danaher's instructionals are more than worth it as soon as you hit your good old blue belt. Also, I own every one of his courses, I even have 5 of them in DVD format, so yeah, trust me, I know what I'm talking about!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A definite must buy if you want to learn an effective guillotine.
Mastering Guillotine Concepts and Principles by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
I’m a 46 year old brown belt that have been inconsistently practicing for 14 years. It is only this past year of bjj training that I developed a learning plan and have been more consistent in training. Part of my learning plan was finding out the most common or highest percentage submissions in both Mma and grappling, and, guillotines were on the top list. I initially learned about professor silverfox from watching firas zahabi’s YouTube video where Firas indicated professor silverfox’s notoriety of being a guillotine savage. What really caught my attention was his move called “the iron fist” , which pretty much counters the vonflu choke. I pretty much brought the instructional immediately and it’l have helped my game immediately and immensely. The instructional is direct to the point and emphasized on the important details on how to make it effective (which I was totally doing all wrong). This instructional complements the Danaher instructional I got as it’s a different guillotine approach and focus (I feel that the fox guillotine is my first option then will move to the Danaher guillotines if the fox fails). Thanks again professor silverfox for this series. P.s: I posted on professor silverfox’s fb page to ask if the iron fist is included in his instructional? I got a reply and even an invitation to his live online question and answer YouTube show (how cool is that 😎).
