Perfect for my needs
Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older and Less Athletic - Bottom game: Gi by John Danaher
Professor John Danaher is phenomenal at teaching in a way that any student no matter what type of learner they are will understand grasping the concept and the reason for it. I’m 44 years old now and have suffered a few different injuries during my 2 decades plus of martial arts training, I hurt my shoulder during a Judo Tournament and required rotator cuff surgery, before my injury I had only a few months earlier been promoted to Brown Belt in BJJ, the injury prevented my from stepping on a judo and BJJ mat for close to two years, I began training again about 14 months ago after repairing my shoulder, I eased my way back into all my training Judo(black belt) Boxing (USA Boxing amateur licensed fighter Masters Division) and BJJ (Brown belt) the combination of the injury with years of wear and tear as well as my age and the rust from not training or competing for so long was obvious to me, because of my ego I would only do no-gi BJJ so that I didn’t have to wear my belt and get “embarrassed” by lower ranked practitioners, I knew I was sandbagging but didn’t want to admit that I was unable to do things the way I could before, these techniques were a large part in helping me change my game to a version that is successful with the new limitations that my body now has, I also realized that my ego controlling where and how I train is not reflective of the instructor’s I’ve been blessed to learn from, I altered my game and my way of thinking and once again added GI training and have even earned stripes on my belt, I credit Danaher and the strategic approach that I utilize now and it has brought me to a place where I see myself competing in the near future, I never thought that would be possible a few years ago. Anyone who has had an injury that makes it impossible to succeed using the style you developed before you got hurt trust me when I say you are able to adapt to your limitations and become successful reaching the goals you have set for yourself.

Foundations of guard attacking
Foundations of Guard: Attacking by Mikey Musumeci
This is filled with concepts and techniques, don’t let the title fool you, people often associate the word foundations with a beginner, in BJJ as well as many other martial arts Foundations and fundamentals are not a negative word but rather one of the most important ones. Being told that you have a great foundation especially in the grappling arts is one of the best compliments a Professor could ever give you , whether you are a white belt with 10 days of Training or myself a Brown Belt that recently received my 4th stripe April 11th will be 10 years since I began my BJJ Journey and it’s my 27th year of studying Martial arts which includes another Grappling Art Judo where I recieved my black belt under two time Olympic champion and the Coach of the USA Olympic judo team for both of Kayla Harrison’s gold medals, SENSIE Jimmy Pedro, who has a much more focus on ground game (Ne-Waza) then most Judoka’s. Every principle that Musumeci is structured in a way that is easy to understand and he explains to the student the reasons behind preforming the techniques in the certain way that they are taught, without adding any unnecessary filler, I would recommend to anyone who trains in submission grappling whether wrestling, judo and obviously BJJ. Learning and utilizing the concepts & techniques taught here will always be a part of your game and the further you get the more important these become. Musumeci has a great mind for a strategic approach to your grappling/offensive game can become more effective.

Great video
Toe Fold and Shin Locks by Joshua You
Amazing ways of countering some of the subs using his techniques. Very well explained and great camera views with dual angles. One of the volumes seems to be filmed by a low resolution camera. Also, if u could clarify if the moves are legal under IBJJ F Gi competition, that would be great. Other than that, it was a great production and good editing effort. Enjoyed it much. Definitely worth a buy if u like leg submissions.

Very easy to understand and highly effective. My stand-up game improved very quickly, and the techniques are explained extremely well by John Danaher. The camera work and audio quality are excellent, allowing every detail of the movements to be clearly seen. I would definitely recommend this instructional. Great Instructional!
A One-Armed Approach To Brazilian Jiu-JItsu by Aaron Lapointe
This has been the best instructional for my game. Aaron does an exceptional job at keeping it simple, clear and to the point. Just under six months ago I fell ten feet at work and landed on concrete. I shattered my right wrist very badly and smacked my head pretty good. I was off the mats for almost four months and returned when I was cleared to do so. My right arm was extremely weak and grip strength almost non existent. I wear a super strong wrist brace and had to change my game completely. Aaron's instructional helped me find success on the mats. My sweeps and immobilizations became almost unstoppable. I'm still working on submissions but have learned to tap people with pressure. Aaron is a great teacher and inspiration to me... It's a huge honor for me to say that. All my BJJ Fanatics videos helps me last the time away. I'm very thankful to be alive and still able to roll. Thanks Aaron and all those at BJJ Fanatics for making it possible. Bernardo you are my hero!
