I've been working the lasso for sometime to help control the pace with the younger I train with (I'm 42). This video breaks down the basics of the lasso, as well as the more complex sweeps, submissions and retention really well. It includes alot of submissions I've never even seen. I highly recommend the video.

The diamond concept has opened my eyes to something that can be found almost everywhere. It’s too bad I had to learn it many years into training.

Concise and to the point, shows aspects of his game. Liked the da la Reva pass to triangle finish the best.

The Battle Tested Half Guard by Bernardo Faria
I picked a technique from the list, (Single Leg Half Sweep). I need additional half guard sweeps and gave it a shot. Bernardo does a great job showcasing his knowledge. Hit it effectively while rolling, 7 times attempted with 6 being successful. The missed attempt is because I tried to force it.
Response from BJJ FanaticsOSSSSHalf guard anthology
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
This is the best instructional I have. I'm brazilian and have other dvds from bjjfnatics.com.br . Mr. Giles explain with a lot of details and show not only the technique but the full game of the halfguard (how to counter, what to do and how to approach). It is a nogi, however you can easilly adapt the things for the gi. The content and how he display is unique among other dvds out there. A must buy

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Don’t have the luxury of being able to train as much as I would like with two young kids just been born so these videos are a great way for me to keep at it from home.
Shin Whizzer
I absolutely love all of Coach Neal's videos (and his book) and the Shin Whizzer is no exception. All of the Ground Marshall's systems work well together and I like the thought processes/concepts that are employed. As an older grappler, I find it helpful to mix things up a bit when it comes to style. Adding CACC, Sambo, and wrestling techniques to my BJJ game keeps me competative with my younger, faster training partners. Thanks BJJ Fanatics and Coach Neal; keep up the good work.
