Fundamental for Jiu Jitsu
Breathe to Win by Glyn Powditch
This is a game changer for anyone wanting to significantly improve their jiu jitsu. Most people only use a fraction of their lung capacity and this instructional is about radically changing that. More lung efficiency means lower heart rate and better decisions. It's hard to learn anything if you're gasping for breath. I really like the practical application of the techniques - using your breathing as both defence and offence. Really, this is about maximising efficiency and that's what jiu jitsu is all about. Highly recommended.

Thorough and Well Planned
Death By Mounted Triangle by Crystal Nadeau
Bought this video as I'm not familiar with this move and wanted to add variety when working from the mount. First of all I love how the majority is shown on a much bigger opponent, giving more credibility to the material. Explanations are simple to implement but detailed and the instructor changes angles to give the best view on each step. Also there is a useful trouble shooting section with footage from live rolls. The structure and instruction style really clicks with me and I'm looking forward to more instructionals from Crystal Nadeau (like for the no-gi Ezekiel mentioned).

Easy to Understand and Quickly Apply to Your Game
Foot Sweeps, Ankle Picks and Tripods Engineering by Adam Wardzinski
I’m loving this instructional. Not only am I learning new techniques, but I am learning fresh new details that turn a mediocre technique into a far higher percentage sweep. I always love finding new details to old techniques that turn them from basic to killer. Very well explained, very detailed, easy to understand and apply. Also it’s taught so well that it is easy to self diagnose what detail you messed up when trying to apply it live without having to refer to the video again. Pretty sure I am going to count Adam Wardzinski as a favourite go to instructor. Highly recommend.
Top Notch
Judo for Jiu Jitsu by Leo Leite
These are the same techniques that Leo used all these years on competitions, that Osoto Gari is legendary, Leo used it against Roger Gracie to take him down in 2008 Worlds.
Breathes New Life Into a “Boring” Technique
Kimura Hunting by Kazushi Sakuraba
Realizing there are so many ways to get an armbar from all positions, I decided to see if I could make the common simple Kimura into something exciting to hunt for from unexpected ways. I was not disappointed to find this instructional. Kazushi Sakaruba is a very talented practitioner who has specialized in kimuras, and not only is it exciting to learn all the different applications, and the instruction excellent, but it is also taught with a playful heart and levity. This instructional takes “make learning fun” to heart and it’s so engaging that you can’t get bored and lose focus. Highly recommend
Fundamental Skill for Jiu Jitsu
Breathe to Win by Glyn Powditch
Breathwork is a game changer especially as an older athlete. Most people are using only a fraction of their lung capacity which as Glyn explains is highly inefficient and just not good jiu jitsu. Glyn shows how to apply practice and exercises to live rolling and it makes a huge difference. I've still got a lot of practice ahead of me but I can see better breathing is going to significantly improve not only my jiu jitsu but also in managing stressful situations full stop. Highly recommended.
Very Detail Oriented
