I bought this as a white belt and really liked how John Danaher explains the basics and the subtle details. I made a really big difference in my closed guard game as a white belt and I know I'll continue to use it and review it in the future. Thanks to this, I was really able to become a more challenging partner in closed guard and was complimented on this by a few higher belts. I really could feel the difference.

I bought it as a white belt and although I could not put in practice everything because I just did not yet have the pre requisite skills, most techniques, advices and tips given are usable by any level including white belts. As a improve my game, I will revisit the instructional and review what I miss and learn techniques that may now be more accessible to me. This was definitely worth the investment for me.
