New Rules
Toe Fold and Shin Locks by Joshua You
“Toe Fold and Shin Locks” by Joshua You feels like someone took the familiar leg lock playbook… folded it in half… and scribbled new rules in the margins with a grin.

Hidden Gem
Breaking The Triangle: Escapes, Counters & Sneaky Submissions by Joshua You

Perfect for Students with Limited Time
Unpinnable by Professor Henry Akins
If you study BJJ as a hobby, can only put in 3-4 days per month, and need to learn as efficiently as possible...then this course is gold. Henry Akins makes a bold claim. He says you can skip years in developing an impassable guard. He says to just let them pass, get to your side, and learn basic skills to prevent yourself from being pinned. Then get to your knees and take them down from the bottom turtle position. If you're older, a hobbyist, not athletic, and just don't have the years to dedicate to guard work, this course is eye opening. It's the cheat code. I can't recommend it enough.

Very good guide on how to set up leg attacks
Under Pressure: Leg Entanglements by Brian Glick
This guide is very well prepared and structured to comprehensively teach the specific topic of setting up leg attacks from guard positions. It is very clear that Brain Glick has a mastery of the subject matter, and has planned this video out to efficiently and effectively teach that topic. If you are interested in learning how to win the leg entanglement battle (how to defend leg locks, win the 50/50, or how to effectively leg pummel from a defensive leg entanglement to an offensive one), this particular instructional isn't going to give you those answers. However, if you want a solid foundation in attacking leg locks, starting from the guard and ending in the various ashi positions, then this is an excellent guide for you. One thing I do wish is that Japanese terms would have been defined as they were used. I was able to pick up most of them through context, but sometimes that context came quite a bit later. Overall, I was very happy with this series. I learned a lot about using leg entanglements to help with my guard retention. I will definitely revisit this series when I'm a brown belt and more of these techniques are applicable to my competitions.
