Great retention and transition information.
Fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu: Open Guard Attacks by Nicholas Meregali
Great retention and transition information. I’m only into Chapter 2 but so far the information is great quality . I’ve already been able to apply the collar sleeve guard skills taught so far in live rolls
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great for fundamentals
Intermediate Edition: Muay Thai Masterclass by Jean Charles Skarbowsky
He teaches the fundamentals. He is very good at explaining the basics. He definitely has a good program to follow. I bought it so I could train with a friend in stand up as he wanted Muay thai and I have never done Thai boxing just karate, kenpo and general kickboxing. I will be buying the rest of the series as it is good price for the information in them.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Good value

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt Requirements by Roy Dean
wow, I remember when I first started jjs and I was very lost so I bought one of his videos of what to do to be a good white belt. Then I bought the blue belt requirements. I used to watch those videos daily and they helped me understand a little more of what I was doing.. MANY years passes and now im a 4 degree purple, wanting to get better and do homework/study jjs outside of the mats(after hours). so I bought the brown belt requirement video. CRAZY how time has passed and I still love this videos. what I enjoy about the videos is how he explains the techniques, and that there is no background music (in the begining intro videos there is so that wasnt my preference) but then is just him with another student explaining and teaching. I would love for future videos to be also translated to Spanish. GREAT videos, thank you master Roy Dean

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:another great instructional by Dante
Reverse De La Riva Formula Made Easy by Dante Leon
If you want to be the best learn from the best. Easy and very effective way to learn and use RDLR. Every technique is linked to the next and is based off action reaction. Easy to use and apply.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:One of the Only Courses on the Shoulder Lock Variation
The Art & Science Of Locking The Shoulder From Closed Guard by Denny Prokopos
So as Eddie Bravo put it himself, the rubber guard has grown so large and complex that even he doesn't know all the variations and styles of game. Well, the shoulder lock is one game you can play the rubber guard (among many), and it's a pretty good one. Denny Prokopos does a deep dive on the should should variation, and to my knowledge there isn't another instructional like it. I really liked the video.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Very Educational
Leg Lock Defense: Survive And Escape by Giancarlo Bodoni

Fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu: Introduction To Meregali’s Gi System by Nicholas Meregali
This is perfect for a start and game plan philospophy. Your not just learning techniaques but philosophy.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Good material, short and to the point
Judo Throws From Wrestling Ties by Patrick Spano
Some very nice content here on adapting some of the classic judo throws to no-gi. I would recommend this for someone who wants to see a lot of different techniques in a short time- there's not a lot of theory here, it's just demonstrating the move a couple times and moving on to the next one. For that reason, maybe not the best choice for beginners, but very nice for those who just want something to review quickly before getting on the mats.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:high precsion
High Precision Half Guard and Reverse Half Guard by Jake Mackenzie
👍
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Defensive to offensive guard passing
Defensive To Offensive Guard Passing by Jason Hunt
Jason breaks guard passing down into simple, easy to understand concepts and techniques. He teaches them as a system, unlike some videos that are just random techniques thrown together. This allows you to use his system or easily add his techniques into your game. Great deal.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:How to Look for the Wrist Lock More Often
Ultimate Wrist Locks by Andre Gomes
It's a good course on wrist locking. We need to look for this submission more often and this instructional shows us how.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great Options from Lockdown
The Lockdown Blueprint by Tom DeBlass
Tom is a great instructor. He's able to clearly explain many defensive and offensive options from this half guard position that I feel is not used enough.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Just Stand Up
Excellent
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:DLR Fundamentals
Dynamic De La Riva Guard by Otavio Sousa
Otavio. Sousa appears as a clear guide of how to use DLR fundamentals and how to connect them. Clear concepts about how to work with proper angles and when to transition to different DLR follow ups to sweep and submlt. Highly recommend!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Cliffs Notes on the Fundamentals of BJJ
BJJ Accelerator Blueprint by Stephen Whittier
Stephen Whittier's other videos go into the weeds and offer a lot of great content. This video is the summarized version of everything else, yet the value of his insights remain intact. I really liked the video. This is the cold hard fundamentals of jiu jitsu. Everything else is just flash and noise.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:The most underrated instructor on this site
Precision Foot Sweeps by Steve Mocco
Steve Mocco might be the best instructor on this site for the standup game. As someone who comes from a wrestling/MMA background, all of his stuff is absolute gold. Gordon Ryan trains with him to improve his wrestling- enough said.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Excellent Instruction as Usual
Leg Lock Defense: Survive And Escape by Giancarlo Bodoni
Giancarlo presents another excellent instructional befitting of a world class athlete and instructor
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Excellent Judo throws for BJJ
Combination BJJ Takedowns by Luke Harris
I started cross training in Judo in my late 30s to help with my takedowns. Solid techniques that have helped tie the two styles together for me. Would recommend
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great material, short and to the point
Combinations and Clinch Work by Saenchai
This is a brief collection of Saenchai's favorite techniques and how to do them. The format is basically technique- talking through how to do it- demonstration again from a couple of angles. There's not really any theory here, so just be aware of that if you're used to the more verbose instructional style common in BJJ. My one critique is that I didn't really like the decision to dub Saenchai rather than using closed captioning like in other instructionals by non-English speaking fighters (i.e. Alex Pereira)- in some of the demonstrations, Saenchai makes comments that go untranslated.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:The Mirroring Principle:The Kings Gambit
The Mirroring Principle: The Kings Gambit by Wim Deputter
Great video. The range of tactics has expanded greatly in an unexpected way.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Good Instrustional
Submissions From Everywhere by JT Torres
I would say good for three straight, white belts and up.
Unique Perspective on Learning BJJ
How To Learn Jiu Jitsu by Chris Paines
I loved Chris Paines' other video on how to defend everything. This one is just okay. It's a good, unique perspective on learning and it very much avoids technical variations. I just don't know if I agree with it 100%.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great content
Habits For Highly Effective Jiu-Jitsu by Garry Tonon
10/10 these concepts and details are a game changer
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great topic

Under Pressure: Retention, Recovery and Attacking From Guard by Brian Glick
Brian is very detailed but does not over complicate the process. Love the video so far and highly recommend to advance your bottom game!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Excellent
The Darcicano Submission System by Bjorn Friedrich
Bjorn shows a really good way to use the darcicano the connect the kimura and darce and how to transition between them all in a seamless and efficient attacking sequence. It's a unique perspective and I learned something pretty amazing. So for instance, if you lock a kimura grip and your opponent locks his hands strongly, you don't have to go into grip breaks and struggle. You can quickly transition to a darcicano and it's super fast.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A Simple Way to Learn Guard Fast
The Anchor Guard by Chad Lyman
This is an extremely simple and easy to learn way to play bottom guard. It's designed to quickly teach someone how to fight not only in BJJ but street self defense. Chad Lyman is a former police officer and this is the sort of stuff that violence professionals need to get up to speed.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Classic Gordon Ryan
Pillars of Defense: Leg Locks to Back Takes by Gordon Ryan
Great repertuar of Leg lock defenses
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Learn from the spider guard goat!
Everyday Porrada Spider Guard by Romulo Barral
The video is well done and gives a good look at Rómulo’s version of spider guard, which is slightly different than most spider guards. This series is well worth the price and you’ll pick up at least a few techniques that will fit into your game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A Bargain at this Price
Kimura System by Marcelo Cohen
It's a good course. Although it's only about an hour, you learn quite a bit and the price is really good.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Simple, but on point!
The Guard Passing Anthology: Half Guard by Lachlan Giles
One of my favourite coaches to learn from online. He makes it quite easy to understand!

Under Pressure: Retention, Recovery and Attacking From Guard by Brian Glick
Brian is A great detailed instructor teaches all the mechanics you need to try the clamp guard and some slick subs . highly recommend this video.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Outstanding material on grip fighting
You Grip, I Score by Katelyn Jarrell
As someone whose background is primarily in wrestling/ MMA, I've always felt much less comfortable in gi standup because of my relative unfamiliarity with grip fighting. This instructional goes a long way towards ameliorating that- the material is very clearly explained and systematically presented. I especially appreciated how the techniques are demonstrated with a taller uke to show their effectiveness on larger opponents.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:useful
awesome!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great Detail
High Level Fundamentals by Gregor Gracie
Solid fundamentals with great details.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Elite Level Leg Lock Defense
Leg Lock Defense Kit by Vagner Rocha BJJ
This was a short and concise course on defending leg locks. But don't let that fool you. It's a good instructional from someone that has elite level leg lock defense.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Brutal and Offensive
Killer Kesa Gatame by Erik Paulson
This is a brutal and highly offensive version of side control. I liked the content a lot.
