Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Very useful guide
Clinch Wrestling Basics by Pat Smith
It's fantastic to have a wrestling guide which does not focus on singles and doubles - this is a must for all older or taller practitioners who want to have a "natural" stand-up game
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Spiral Ride
Top Wrestling Mastery: Spiral Ride by John Smith
It is about break downs, mat returns and pins. A small and well chosen compilation of techniques with huge leverage effect which makes them really work also for a little less experienced guys like me. It has also great value for jiu jitsu becauce during the transitions and after pinning there are a lot of opportunities to attack the the arm and thRead more about review stating Top Wrestling Mastery: Spiral Ridee neck immediately. I've recommended this instructional to many of my students
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Really got me into loose passing.
Loose Passing by Ethan Crelinsten
This instructional has really helped me develop my loose passing game, I've always relied on pressure to pass but after watching this I've realized the benefits of having another dimension to my passing game. Some of the techniques are pretty high level but nothing practice and consistency won't solve. Ethan is a great instructor and the B-team are a breath of fresh air in this community which I think takes itself a little to seriously at times.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Best X-guard system I've seen
Unlocking The X-Guard by Darragh O'Conaill
Hey, we all love Marcelo but this instructional is WAY BETTER than any of Marcelo's instructionals. Darragh is a great teacher and explains things clearly. Also, he provides a full system with entries, guard variations, sweeps and troubleshooting. If you want to learn X guard, this is the way.....
Wrestling for Beginners: Neutral Defense
Wrestling For Beginners: Neutral Defense by Dan Vallimont
Coach Dan Vallimont breaks down what to concider and what to focus on when defending shots. You get sprawls and go behinds as well as snap downs and turnovers. Taught in a simple manner and easy to follow. Concepts lead to basic techniques. That is what he shows very clear. Highly recommend!!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Imagine John Danaher was an engineer instead of a philosopher...
Guard Passing Made Easy by Firas Zahabi
This is the kind of video he would probably make. The focus here is on showing a handful of effective techniques and drawing concepts from those techniques. The techniques are broken down with narration and onscreen annotation, making them concise and easy to return to again and again. I end up watching Zahabi's videos multiple times.

Gold Standard Wrestling Defense by Gable Steveson
G. S. shows early and mid-stage defense against single legs. It is about how to get out of it and disconnect or get straight to a form of top control. Broken down step by step to simple peaces. Easy to get and to remember.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A real tricky and confusing system for your opponents
The 50/50 Arm Passing System by Leo Vieira
Leo V really is one of goats. This system creates big problems for your opponents, it's very unorthodox. Leo's teaching is top notch as expected, easily explains the positions and concepts. If you want to add another variation of passing to your nogi game I highly recommend this. I'll be picking up his gi version of this as well because it looks even more frustrating to deal with lol. Highly recommend this
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Mixtape style instructional
Catch Wrestling For MMA by Ben Jones
This instructional was fun. It's not a "system" or for beginners but it's full with ideas and combinations for grappling. All of the instructors are knowledgable and you will learn som cool moves to tap people with. I wished everyone used an "uke" of their size or bigger because some of the moves look like they won't work against same weight partners.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Iranian Lift
Mastering The Iranian Lift by Jason Welch
Coach Jason Welch shows how to finish your shot from your knees no matter where your head is or pops out or in. It is about changing angles and directions either to straight finish the shot or redirect it to turn your opponent over. Highly recommend!!! Quick & Effective Takedowns Explained by Alec Pantaleo
A. P. shows and explains his approach to takedowns step by step. He breaks down every given technique in the same manner. What makes this system very useful for me is that whenever possible he puts a hook on the far leg and so really inhibits the possibility to step out and/or sprawl. Highly recommend!
