Interesting and Accurate
Submission Secrets by Alexey Oleynik
I just purchased it today. The Ezekiel choke instruction was one of my main reason for buying it. Even though English is not his strong suit, he explained how to do the Ezekiel in an excellent way. He mentioned using a 45 degree angle, and pointed out where to aim the fist. He did a better job explaining the choke than another professor did, who sometimes uses big words. I look up Alexey Oleynik's MMA record. His record wins came mostly by using submission holds, and to a considerable extent the Ezekiel choke. I noticed that many if not all the submission holds he used were listed in the Instructional as well. I figured if he used them in MMA fights that says they passed the test of using them successfully against resisting opponent's. His triangle defense looked unique and something I'd like to put to the test. He said no on taught him it. It makes sense. If you can, pick this up. I'm glad I purchased this. Best!

This Course covers attacking the Legs when your on top of your partner It is a four volume course and The positions covered are the Seated Guard, Open Guard, Knee shield and the reverse DLR The Video is well made and shows the techniques with multiple angles, the Audio is clear and Instructor Junny Ocasio is easy to understand and explains things in an easy to follow manner I am not adept at foot locks so I am hoping this will help my Leg Lock skills develop and I am looking into one of Junnys other courses on Passing the Guard or His No-Gi Fundamentals course I hope BJJ fanatics would consider him as an Instructor of the month for the Insiders club

John Danaher's way of teaching and his philosophy has allowed me to improve my bjj game tremendously. Without a doubt, I feel smarter in the game and feel like everything is starting to make sense. I am a very short person (5'2) and getting the back is my main goal and this instructional has allowed me to tap out blue and purple belts in my gym even with less than 1 year of training.

Coach Scott puts together a nice integrated system for stance & motion, hand fighting, and shooting. Because it is a system it covers a lot of depth rather than breadth. You will learn a lot about the elbow tie. Coach Scott has done a nice job with the program at UNC (I live here)

Sensei Aram Grigorian offers throws from traditional grips as well as shoulder grips and out of overhook and whizzer as well as underhooks. So you get efficiency out of every grip. Same side and opposite side. He also uses throws to break grips and set up major attacks! Highly recommend

Sensei Garry St. Leger really opened my mind that you should focus on attacking from the vety first second and by prepared to switch back from defense to offense within every transition. Sensei Sonny Sahota did an amazing job of providing deep understanding of how throws work in an easy to catch way. He teaches how to use the overhook to transition into other grips and ties or execute directly out of it. The overhook is not a defensive reaction ans counter anymore. I have wanted to try a Neil Melanson Course for a while. I don't use the cradle position so I figured this material would be all new to me and a great start !! The video is well shot with multiple angles, the sound is clear and Professor Melanson is easy to understand and has a good teaching style I am trying to incorporate the chokes taught in Volume 1, into my game and then go from there I will definitely be purchasing another one of his courses when I am done with this one
