Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A Masterclass of BJJ
Go Further Faster Bundle by John Danaher
I find having video lessons to review has really helped my development as I am able to bring more ideas to the table for open mat sparring sessions that just what is covered in class. being able to have two or three new things to try each week instead of a lower amount covered in class makes progress feel much faster. I can get another overview of new skills taught in class explained in a different way as well as dig deeper in things that have tripped me up in sparring sessions with better skilled opponents. It is quite the price but there is a lot of information, watch for the sales but in conclusion I think it is money well spent.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Absolutely Wonderful System
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Mounted Pin Attacks - The 4x4 Mount System by John Danaher
This is a really straightforward and powerful approach to submitting from mount. A lot of people have trouble converting to submissions from dominant positions so I'd really recommend this. Also, I'd pair this with his back attack series and side control series. When you can not only attack from mount but also change the position and renew the attack from a new angle your effectiveness will go way up.

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Closed Guard - Building a Complete Closed Guard System by John Danaher
I'd recommend this video to any white belts starting out. John does his best work when you're completely new to a topic. His lecturing style really helps instruct what your goals are in the given position and what you're looking for in order to achieve those goals. This, and how closed guard will fit into your overall strategy.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Best Guard Passing Video, a ton of detail.
Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
It may take you a couple months of viewing and reviewing to get through all the details but Gordon really does a nice job with this one. As he puts it in the video "it is a complete system". It allows you to assess all the various positions you might be put in while guard passing and the best options to progress toward a total pass. This is probably my favorite BJJ fanatics video I've seen so far.

The footwork Blueprint by Trevor Wittman and Justin Gaethje
I just have to say, this elevated my game in so many ways as a beginner. Really gave me a better understanding of the mind games that go on in striking exchanges and I believe after studying this series it definitely set me apart from the other beginners. I mean, I landed an uppercut using 1 of the techniques provided and I NEVER land uppercuts haha.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:A Great Back Attack System
Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
This was my first BJJ fanatics instructional and has really laid the foundation about how I approach submissions from dominant positions. I'm not a huge guy so I always had problems overcoming people's defensive hands. When I saw John's system it really made sense. Why wouldn't I try to use my legs, negate their escape options, and isolate the game where it's just my hand vs. their defensive chin. Excellent stuff, I'd pair with the mount attack and side control attack videos by him as well.

As I was injured and needed to start slowly again, I used the ***** to sharpen up my transitions and to learn a few more submissions on the *****. Was really helpful and it is not really that expensive. Gotta be really honest, the biggest star on the DVD is the cat. The cat owns the mats :)))

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Really Improved My Recovery!
The Fight Dietician by Craig Jones and Jordan Sullivan
I felt overtrained, but turns out I was under-recovered! This course really helped me get the most out of my nutrition-based recovery. I thought I knew a fair amount about sports nutrition, but I still learned a lot making the purchase well worth it. It starts out a bit technical, but by the second video, the practical info starts flowing fast! You’ll need a calculator to determine your nutritional targets, and it probably helps to plan your meals at the beginning to make sure you’re hitting those targets. I really like the info on pre and post-workout meals, and I’ve never seen a better review of the weight management and pre-comp weight cutting!
