The 2 on 1 Closed Guard System & Beyond by Aaron Benzrihem
Professor A. B. delivers an amazing series about the technical/mechanical aspects of the 2 on 1 closed guard independent of certain grips as well as mechanical details of certain grips. He covers how to deal with opponents dependend if they are standing straight upwards as well as bent over or kneeling on one or two knees. He gives you very clear indicators when and how to tranisition to other gaurds like butterfly and half guard to gain better kuzushi and easier sweeps and submissions. Absolute Masterpiece by Pedro Sauer
Fundamentals of Side Control Escapes by Pedro Sauer
Escaping the sidecontrol is one of the hardest subjects to get done. Especially when your opponent forces the pin over all other techniques. The idea and concept of actually pinning your opponent on top of you and preventing his progress is pure gold. It forces him to move because you got into his/her mind. Furthermore how to prevent his gripping and pinning progress and resent and how to use it to escape or even counter directly via submissions is taught in a way which is easy to remember and that makes the techniques applicable for me. Sometimes it is easier to submit then to escape or reverse. I will never neglect this opportunity!
Great introduction
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Danaher hits all the major escapes in gi and as always does a great job of conceptually explaining the objectives
Ankle Pick as an attack and set up - excellent breakdowns and combinations
Basics To Advanced: Ankle Picks For Jiu Jitsu by Aaron Benzrihem
Professor A. B. provided another great instructional lead by his clear path given through explaining the main types of ankle picks first. Second explaining the mechanics of the ankle pick(s) and then going into different finishes and set ups form all major spots and linking them with dominant positions like knee on belly mount and submissions out of this like his signature technique the high ellbow guillotine. Detailed and on point and creating a valuable over all = big picture and concept. Highly recommend even for slower guys!

Lasso
Deep and Flow Lasso Guard by Nicholas Meregali
Really excellent instructional from Meragali. Some things may get lost in translation due to English; but overall still quite good. Even if unintentional he does a REALLY excellent job explaining proper framing, structure, alignment, positioning (for the concepts based folks out there) that are lacked IMO on many instructionals out there.

Great for bigger guys
Passing For Chubby Guys by Bernardo Tavolaro
I trained with Professor Tavolaro when I was a white belt and he taught at Checkmat Minneapolis a few years back. Really like his details. This video changed my passing game. I struggled with guard passing because I am older and slower that most of the guys I train with. Professor Tavolaro breaks down details that make the different passes actually work and goes over how to shut down guard retention strategies your opponent will use. Great video.

Combatives & Street Jiu Jitsu by Dan "The Wolf Man" Theodore
Was looking for Eric Paulson mma/ catch wrestling seminars on YouTube. Found a free mma seminar from Dan the Wolfman. Went to his page and found a treasure trove of techniques to attack and escape the most common positions which was exactly what I was looking for. Felt obligated to give something back for all the free stuff he gave me. Was also very interested in the aikido, and systema. Very much worth the money for all the novel techniques and positions he showed, that frankly none of the cookie cutter bjj coaches talk abt. Watched the breaking structure section atleast 10 times at this point. And the front groin kick section is hilarious. My new hobby is going for standing wristlocks on wrestlers and aggressive ppl. 5 out of 5 stars.
