Great Instructional! Highly recommend! Underrated and underutilized sweep
Mastering The Giggler Sweep by Sean Roberts
Very underrated and underutilized sweep! Sean shows many set ups and variations to this half guard sweep. You may have learned this as the John Wayne or Twist sweep. This is another take on that sweep with many gripping options and outcomes such as back takes etc.

Coral Belt Concepts: Guard Passing by Fabio Gurgel
Professor Fabio Gurgel did an outstanding instructional about pressure passing. It is about negating and clearing your opponent's hooks and frames lead by constant pressure. He points out how to shift your weight for which particular purpose. Furthermore he offers the idea of focus on getting yourself to a sweet spot that you are comfortable with and progress out of this as well as to use dominant positions to wring your opponent out that he offers you one path or another to eventually gives you the pass. ABSOLUTE RECOMMENDATION!!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Short - Sharp - concise
High Percentage Gi Passes by Gordon Ryan
Professor Gordon Ryan gives a short and sharp introduction into toreando guard passing connected to leg drag and long step passing. He sharpens the view how they connect to each other and when prefer which depending on the scenario. Furthermore it is about how to force half guard top and establishing chest to chest and the cranial shift and eventually complete the pass. Although it is a forecast it is on point and deep in terms of the concepts behind!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Super-excellent howto choke video
The Mechanics Of No-Gi Chokes by Jordan Preisinger
I have seen quite a lot videos on choking online and have had instructions. it was all good. But. This is by far the best overall explanation i have seen and heard - and also the best on were i just put it into direct practice in a way i never could before - in a week my chokes went up 1 level. The reason is that this was the first time i really understood the mechanics and pressure working together. some of the things i "knew" but really hadn't figured it out. The finer details. Which is the difference of straining/cranking to get a choke or choking. I see all kind of levels struggle with chokes in my gym and now i understand why they do. This video is very precise on how and why a specific choke works. If you pay attention to what he says all your chokes will improve (gi-chokes too). The principals he explains are general. also super - the second part with live rolling explained. I have a training partner that is blue belt that i adjusted chokes with. I have quite ok upperstrenght - so i always liked arm triangle. Also that improved so i needed much less force to choke. And - all my chokes have no crank now. As soon i feel myself starting to crank when trying to choke - i adjust to choking. I feel much more "relaxed" when choking -compared to before this video. I also used the principles he explains to improve my collar choke in Gi - and same there. My partner felt the collar choke from CG in a way he never did before. He said he felt the blood cut off instantly. From fighting to finish the choke with my strength and ok position - to my partner feeling the blood cut off in 3-5 seconds. With much less power used. That is the difference this video made for me. If you do your experimentation of adjustment and pressure with the guidelines Jordan gives with a training partner that helps out feeling the choke positions as explained and telling you when you got it - you will improve your choking for sure.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Coverage of pinning, controlling, attacking, countering escapes attempts and how to escape from kesa gatame (long review)
Killer Kesa Gatame by Erik Paulson
At the time of writing this review the written product description for this instructional describes this as an instructional about pinning, controlling and attacking from the kesa gatame, but this instructional is so much more. There is great coverage of a multitude of different escapes from the kesa gatame and these escape techniques are covered in detail. The escaping material is also accompanied by material on how to counter attempts to escape from the kesa gatame. The first two volumes cover positioning, pinning, escaping, and getting back into position if the opponent manages to escape your hold. The final volume is focused on teaching the attacks and for each chapter there are generally multiple variants of the technique being taught. You are flooded with lots of material. It will take a while to work through all of content, to study, learn and practice it. In my opinion you may need to dissect several of the chapters to be able to confidently understand the techniques and this is where bookmarking will help. The instructional has a total run time of 1 hour and 55 minutes. Erik Paulson is such a knowledgeable and experienced fighter and instructor. As an aside it is interesting watching him in this instructional, given his age and physique to see how fast and strong he is. He speaks and demonstrates clearly and is aware of the need to demonstrate from different angles. In general techniques are repeated twice. In my opinion he moves through the material at a quick pace. I would have preferred for this pace to be slowed down. There are no notable issues with sound or video quality (e.g., range, focus, or lighting). This instructional appears to have been filmed in a training facility. The preview chapter (Vol 3, Chapter 6 - Ezekiel choke] and the trailer are consistent (i.e., sound and vision) with the balance of the instructional. If you have an interest in the kesa gatame either to use it from the top or to defend against it, this is a worthwhile instructional to buy. So much information about the kesa gatame. Personally, I would buy it just for the material on the escapes and counters, but it is much more. Kesa gatame is a great position, as it puts your training partner under physical pressure immediately and if you know how to counter their escape attempts you have time to apply a suitable submission. More importantly it is a horrible position to be in from the bottom (e.g., crushing pressure, if done well) and you really do need to be able to quickly escape before the opponent can solidify the position.

Cradle of Filth by Neil Melanson
Neil is a know-it-all on subjects most BJJ and wrestling guys never even begin to ponder. I've always loved cradles for control, slowly guys down, passing, and sometimes submitting. Neil has shown me the light. I was unaware of most of these submission set-ups from various cradle positions. I'm super hyped to work these into my game!
