Great for begginers
Fundamentals of Side Control Escapes by Pedro Sauer
Another great video by professor saure. I know i have seen most of what was in this video before, but having his approach to the material kicks it up a notch. Also he gave a name to a move i have been using for years that i learned in my first year training and still use it to this day..

High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
Seriously. His instructionals are the definition of value for money. I was looking for an instructional on frontal chokes because my club wrestles a lot and I wanted to improve my subs from these spots, and after watching just the first volume my game levelled up tremendously. Brilliant instructional for beginners and advanced players alike.
A good look at crossbody control.
The Roger Gracie Side Control System by Roger Gracie
So all the information you would want to learn is in this set. It covers stuff you may have forgotten and covers stuff you never learned. I would recommend this video to anyone basic to intermediate or anyone who is interested in a more traditional system of side controle.

The Great Escapes by Chris Haueter
Much respect to the old school way. Chris is full of info, he reminds me of one of my old roommates who was supper passionate about the art. He and his group show some traditional and some unorthodox escapes. The moves are good and the quality of instruction is good. Would be nice to see him do a video at bjj fanatics location.

Great instructional on half guard great Tom Deblass' butterlfy half system
The Butterfly Half Guard by Tom DeBlass
Tom Deblass teaches a comprehensive butterfly guard system. I really like Tom's teaching style, he's a clear and efficient communicator who still shows a lot of detail on how to get the system to work. For example his explanation on inviting pressure has been a game changer for my own half guard and butterfly half. I like to play a lot of butterfly and half guard so this instructional has helped me tremendously. I think this instructional is equally applicable for gi as well.

100% the best and most thorough GI half guard instructional
Half Guard Encyclopedia by Leonardo Nogueira
Leo has created by far the best GI half guard instructional. It covers every major half guard position in a technical but not complicated way. I started my bjj journey with Benardo's stuff and then found my way to Lucas and Leo. Leo has the perfect mix of techniques to help troubleshoot any problems you may have. My only wish is that he had some rolls filmed while he plays half to demonstrate some of the techniques.
