New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Guard Passing by John Danaher
Danaher is a bit long winded but covers all the details you need to pass the gaurd. The section on Passing around the outside was especially useful for me as I almost always knee cut, body lock or smash pass.

Middle Aged BJJ by Tom DeBlass
Content was excellent. Instructions what do to do to protect yourself from injury. Techniques were great and Tom used a brown belt that was younger and a blue belt that was a middle aged man.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Into to leg locks
Leglocks: Enter The System by John Danaher
Danaher is a bit long winded but worth watching all the same. As a former wrestler this is the part of BJJ most foreign to me. I am still not good at leg lock but it’s a good resource to improve.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Avoiding the gaurd from a takedown
Shoot To Kill: Wrestle, Scramble, Submit by Garry Tonon
Great instructional covers technique to avoid the guard after a takedown. My personal favorite way to pass the guard is to avoid it.

I was looking for a secondary guard besides closed guard and this is a great way to start learning opens guards in general.
Top notch instruction
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Absolutely phenomenal instruction, addresses, almost if not all significant variations of the half guard with exceptional detail. The gold standard for half guard instructionals
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very useful for an ultra heavyweight
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Half Guard 3 Directions of Attack by John Danaher
As a 260lb BJJ player closed guards are difficult and I have been working really hard to develop a competent guard game. Half guard has been my answer. Having references that focuses completely upon half guard has been really useful.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Fool proof system
Systematically Attacking From Top Pins: Mount by Gordon Ryan
Like all of Gordon's instructionals he gives a blueprint of how to establish control regardless of your opponents reactions and how to troubleshoot the system if you end up losing position. A fool proof system that keeps you on the offensive
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Amazing instructional!
At Home Drills - NO GI by Helena Crevar
Great work by Helena. I like that she shows drills to do at home on a ***** when I want to work extra drills, but that also apply to real rolling and work when I'm training.

The Daisy Fresh Knee Slice by Andrew Wiltse
Grata video - learned so many simple little tricks to improve a game I thought I was already pretty strong on. The delivery of the tips was also excellent - no nonsense and super easy to understand. Would recommend Andrews videos to anyone who’s looking to get better at the finer details
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:An excellent free instructional
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
A comprehensive and actionable instructional especially suited to pandemic times!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Very good but requires some prerequisites
Systematically attacking From Top Pins: Side Control & North South by Gordon Ryan
It is a very good video but some of the techniques require a bit deeper explanation. I bought danahers triangle video after this and then the content made significantly more sense as I was not getting a breakthrough with the Kimora / side triangle combo.
Easily worth buying

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Professor Danaher brings insight yet again
Train Safe: Reducing The Risk of Injury Accidents In The Jiu Jitsu Training Room by John Danaher
As always, fantastic information and unique insight from Professor Danaher! He’s a master of organizing information in ways relatable to the novice or the master and his way of relating and breaking down these safety related issues is proof he’s just as adept on any subject. Just like with technique, he sees the bigger picture and expresses all the issues in a way that brings awareness to each possibility. Very happy I got this video while it was available & thankful for BJJ Fanatics in general. In the future people will look back on the history & evolution of Jiu Jitsu and see BJJ Fanatics up there in the top influences with the Gracie’s, the UFC and the internet/YouTube. Because of my age, I still would like to have all these instructionals on disc and sitting on a shelf with my Danaher Leg Lock DVD’s, but I’m appreciative of at least having the option to watch offline :call_me_hand:

Systematically Attacking From Half Guard by Gordon Ryan
Gordon really is an excellent instructor and this is a top notch series. I appreciate the systematic approach as I tend to learn better from this method. I have a long way to go, but I am much more confident playing from half guard now that I’ve watched this series.

Buzzsaw Passing: No Gi by Andrew Wiltse
All of the stuff from the daisy fresh guys is great but this is my favorite instructional by far. Andrew is a great teacher and Bird is great at taking abuse:joy:
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The Daisy Fresh knee slice
The Daisy Fresh Knee Slice by Andrew Wiltse
The Daisy Fresh knee slice was super useful. Especially as a white belt being laughed at by all the purples pulling spider guard but not showing counters. Love passing their guard.
