Leg Lock Anthology: 50/50 by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan is an amazing teacher. One of the interesting things he does is has white belts try the moves he teacher throughout the series and then corrects them. I found this--even as a brown belt--to be exceptionally helpful. You can tell Lachlan spends a ton of time laying out his material before he films it, and thinks critically about how to explain which techniques in which order. All of this hard work pays off. The DVD is truly awesome.

Feet To Floor: Volume 1 Fundamental Standing Skills by John Danaher
With 17 hours of instruction I think I need to take a week off to watch and take notes on this one. I just finished watching volume 1 (2,5 hours) and already learned so much (positioning and function of the grips). I'm a black belt in Judo and BJJ and always found it challenging to combine these two in sparring. Because of the different rule sets, back exposure and ending up on the bottom after executing a throw (because of the energy of the throw). I think with this instructional I will finaly be able to connect the dots. I will update this review after seeing the other 7 volumes.

Great and fun instructional video. My kids love watching it and then doing all the moves with me. I have a 3,7 and 10 year old and they all have benefited from the video. I been training for 12 years now and always love to learn more ways of teaching. Thanks Joel

Shoot To Kill: Wrestle, Scramble, Submit by Garry Tonon
This product is line with all the videos coming out of Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. Garry Tonon is the most creative grappler when it comes to the interface between stand-up and ground work. His systematic approach gives you a whole protocol to start practicing these techniques and implementing them into your own game. I especially liked the volume on granby roll and the sections about the ashi slide. If you want to be ahead of the current metagame, you have to study these videos.

Do yourself a favour and get your hands on as many Silver Fox instructionals as you can. I really like his teaching style and what matters here is you are learning systems to get submissions. Very intelligent well thought out systems of trapping and attacking and great follow ups. I have increased my armlock and triangle submission efficiency many times over by studying his online classes and videos. Can’t recommend this instructional enough. 7 out 5 Stars.

Great DVD as others Have mentioned I first heard of the silver fox on Frias YouTube channel. His armbars are great and dangerous the tap comes quick so be careful with these. What really blew me away was his response to feedback. Some felt there wasn’t enough detail and Mr fox invited him to his live YouTube to correct the problem. It doesn’t get much better than that highly recommended

Single Legs From Everywhere by Giancarlo Bodoni
As an older grappler, I prefer using the single leg takedown. I feel like this type of takedown is more forgiving if you are older and slower compared to shooting in. I watched Josh Hinger use this type of takedown a lot in competition, and I found two different instructionals that helped me to work on it. Josh Hinger and Chewy both have instructionals with their own unique approaches to entering and finishing the single leg, and I learned a lot from both of them. I found the entries on Giancarlo's series to be a little easier for me to use and set up compared to the other two. All three instructionals have a lot of similarities, but I feel like for my type of game, this instructional's entries work the best for me. If you are looking at improving your takedown I highly recommend this series.
