Great Kimura System That Really Works
The Kimura Trap System: Fundamentals, Breaking Mechanics, Escapes by David Avellan
This is a really solid kimura instructional. David Avellan explains everything in a clear and simple way, so it’s easy to follow and use in real training. I like that it’s not just random techniques – it feels like a real system. He shows how to control first, then how to finish, and what to do when your opponent defends. The small details on grips and body position made a big difference for me. As a white belt, this helped me a lot to build confidence and start developing kimura as my main attack. I’ve already been able to try parts of it during rolling, and it works. If you want a practical kimura game you can grow with, I definitely recommend this course.

The Part with the half guard in the gi alone makes it worth it. The Go Further Faster Half Guard was one of Danahers first dvds and you feel it. It was not so systematic build like the Ageless Jiu-Jitsu Bottom Game Gi dvd. Though it had more details and tecniques. So if you watch both, you will build a devestating half guard. With other sections this is true as well. The old dvds are good and you get new strategies and patterns here to apply the old knowledge.

This is a video about how to move inside the closed guard. It isn't a compendium of techniques. The only technique taught is body technique, but that is more than enough. This has been a really revolutionary video for me, it has really changed my game for the better.
