Roger always explains how the simple stuff still works and if you nail these exact pieces. I was passing one of our blackbelts with this and he was my size. But you have to follow it step by step and be aware the whole time of your collar and that bottom leg.

This is a great video if you wanna lock in some surprise attacks from bottom side. I’ve pulled off a handful of these in live rolls and even in competition. A good companion to this is Scott Millers Hawaiian Headlock which shows attacks from bottom side as well. I recommend!
