Dr Mike's the bomb
Weight Training For Grappling by Michael Israetel
I recently completed Dr. Mike's online BJJ and strength training program, and I couldn't be more impressed! As someone who's passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I was looking for a way to enhance both my skills on the mat and my overall physical conditioning. Dr. Mike's program exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The structure of the training is spot on. Each session is well-organized and progressively builds on the last, making it easy to follow and stay motivated. Dr. Mike really understands the needs of grapplers, incorporating specific strength and conditioning exercises that translate directly to improved performance in BJJ. The workouts are challenging yet manageable, and I’ve seen significant gains in my strength, endurance, and flexibility. What sets this program apart is Dr. Mike's thorough explanations and attention to detail. His coaching style is encouraging, and he provides great tips to refine techniques and enhance my overall game. The community aspect is also fantastic—I feel like I'm part of a supportive team, even while training remotely. Since starting the program, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my performance during rolls and competitions. My grips are stronger, my movements are more fluid, and I have better stamina, which has made a real difference on the mat. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Mike's online program to anyone looking to elevate their BJJ and gym performance. It's a game-changer that combines expert coaching with practical training, and I’m excited to continue my journey with it!

The Fastest Way: To Become an Effective Guard Passer (No Gi) by John Danaher
John Danaher has done what he does best. He point out all reason what I’m doing isn’t working and why. He distills techniques down to the principles that they depend on for success or failure. If you want a much harder guard to pass this is the inspirational I would recommend.

BJJ For The Street by Burton Richardson
This is a good instructional to street proof your BJJ. It asks a lot of questions and points out few examples of how to answer said questions over a broad sample of situations. I would recommend this instructional as primer to expose the viewer to a broad range of self defense situations that will need to be explore in more detail and specificity at a later time.

Master The Move: Arm Drags by John Danaher
It's the first instructional of the "Master the Move" series that I watch, and it did not disappoint. Focusing on a move from several positions is very beneficial both in understanding it and in using it in sparring. As always, incredible details from John Danaher. A summary at the end of each video would be great for a quick review before training.

Game-Changing Fundamentals
The Secrets To Winning With Pressure Passing by Gregor Gracie
As a white belt training under Gregor Gracie at his academy, I’ve experienced firsthand how his teaching style transforms even the most foundational techniques into high-percentage strategies. Watching The Secrets to Winning with Pressure Passing has been a game-changer in my understanding and application of pressure passing. This instructional encapsulates everything I’ve come to admire about Gregor’s methodical and principle-driven approach. What stood out most was how Gregor broke down the mechanics of pressure passing into manageable steps. He emphasized the importance of constant pressure—not just to control your opponent physically, but also to exhaust them mentally, a principle that resonates deeply from my training sessions with him. His explanation of body positioning, grip strategies, and countering common defenses made concepts like smashing guard passes and pinning transitions feel attainable even for someone at my level.
