Woj Lock the World: A guide to the future of ankle locks by Chris Wojcik
Amazing
Lasso Guard Solutions and Practice Designs (gi) by Jorge Valladares
I recently finished ** Lasso Guard Solutions and Practice Designs (Gi)** by Jorge Valladares, and it’s one of the most practical lasso guard instructionals I’ve watched. What sets this course apart is that Jorge doesn’t just teach techniques—he teaches a complete system. He breaks down the key concepts behind the lasso guard, explains why positions work, and then provides practice designs that help you actually develop the skills in live training. That combination makes the material much easier to retain and apply. The instruction is clear, organized, and easy to follow whether you’re relatively new to the lasso guard or looking to sharpen an existing game. Jorge does an excellent job of connecting attacks, sweeps, transitions, and retention concepts into a cohesive framework instead of presenting isolated moves. One of the biggest strengths of the course is its focus on problem-solving. Rather than memorizing techniques, you’re learning how to recognize reactions, make decisions, and build a lasso guard game that works against resisting opponents. If you train in the gi and want a deeper understanding of the lasso guard, this instructional delivers tremendous value. The techniques are effective, the teaching is outstanding, and the practice design section provides a roadmap for turning knowledge into skill. Rating: 5/5 A must-watch for any gi practitioner looking to build a modern, functional lasso guard game.
