Nice summary of Gi back takes and escapes
Ways To The Back by Helena Crevar
I've learnt most of these moves in the past but haven't been using them consistently or where the opportunities are there. E.g. I do a lot of tripod, stack and X-guard sweeps but never really thought of following it up to the back consistently. It's short and concise with each technique - it won't go into much of the finer details or more fancy backtakes like the ones in the Lucas Lepri backtake series but offers a great summary of the many foundational variations to the backtakes making sure I don't miss all the 'basic' opportunities before I even start thinking of fancy stuff. Good when this is on discount!

Fantastic
The Complete Butterfly Guard by Marcelo Garcia
Great tutorial from the GOAT, if you want to learn butterfly guard this is who you learn from. Lots of great details and insight. Very good value
Side control prevention & escape
The center piece of his technique is what Miller calls Overhook Position from side control bottom. You prevent the top guy from getting a crossface on the near side by forcing it into an underhook and then you cinch it with your overhook. You willingly give up an underhook on the far side but you counter it with a collar tie. You bring your two hands together for most of your escapes. You see teachings reminiscent of Henry Aikins, Pedro Sauer, the running man, iron pillow, pillow kesa gatame roll from the bottom also taught by Van **** and Scott Miller. I do not like the way he laughs after he successfully executes his technique, but the teachings are great!
