I was really struggling with passing guard. This helped enable me to be able to stop being stuck in my training partners guards. I would watch part of the instructional, go to the gym to try it out, and then repeat that process and continually build up my passing game.

I bought this instructional a couple of years ago and always come back to it. there are so many techniques to chose from. from basics to more advanced. Marcus stays on topic and doesnt go off on a tangent ( like some other instuctors) gets to the point with clear instuctions and shows different angles, so you can see all the grips needed. i highly recommend this content. Lasso is a guard everyone should know if you want a more dynamic and complete game.

Jew Jitsu: Back Attacks From Top Position by Javier Zaruski
When this instructional by Javier Zaruski came out, I was excited both to sharpen my back take game and to support a great cause (the proceeds supported medical supplies for Israel, my country of birth, in the wake of the October 7 terror attack by Hamas). I really enjoyed the instructional, which followed a great progression through positions to back control, and have already implemented some of the lessons learned into my game at the gym. I look forward to rewatching it to pick up on details I may have missed the first time around and I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their game. Thank you sir for a great instructional that supports a great cause!
