Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:One of the greatest instructionals on guard retention & pin escapes
Effortless Guard Retention & Pin Escapes by Octavio Couto
Prifessor O. C. did an absolute outstanding instructional! He points out how our feet play a key-role in propper positioning our whole body to protect yourself/prevent passing and if needed to defend by redirect your uke's energy to get into offensive scenarios. In context with pin escapes he points out and shows some clear examples how to occupy space instead of creating space by using propper body positioning led by your feet again. Absolutely recommended!!!!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Knee on Belly for sport and self defense
Knee On Belly Domination by Stephen Whittier
S. W. points out the fundamentals of knee on belly as a jiu jitsu player and in self defense. He uses a more self defemse based approach where you but your shin more across the belly than towards the sternum which gives you a more stable position and you are able to utilize your arms and hands more freely. It is about maintaining, switching sides, transitioning to mount and back and of course submitting your opponent. His details are very deep but easy to follow. I also like his calm way of teaching. Highly recommend!
