No Gi Open Guard Volume 1: K Guard by Lachlan Giles
I have been spending a lot of time learning this form of guard. It is very fun, and beginner friendly. Lachlan spends most of the instructional addressing counters and how to maintain the position. There are actually only maybe two volumes of attacks from here. I think ultimately this is a good thing as you learn all of the counters to the counters you become very safe in this guard which is already a naturally safe guard to be in. I would highly recommend this instructional to anybody that wants to learn an outside position open guard and basic leg attacks from the guard.

I learned so much from B. Faria. He explains difficult concepts clearly and easy to understand. His lessons are very organized. The pace of his teaching style is perfect. His voice is very energetic. His lessons will not put you to sleep unlike other instructionals I watched (which I never finished). I hope he makes more video instructionals. (like without gi).

I got this at the start of lockdown, and did the workout three times a week. Looking back, it was one of the most impactful instructionals I've purchased (although I didn't purchase it, because it was free). These drills are a phenomenal building block for your development. They make learning Jiu Jitsu easier, and have direct application to your rolling. They're useful for BJJ and MMA.

I found Gokor after hearing Neil Melanson referencing him a few times. I loved his spin on leg locks and various grips. You won't find those in most BJJ classes. I've already been implementing some of these and frequently get puzzled looks like.. wow that was different.
