Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Another Excellent Instructional from Paul Schreiner
Connected Reaction: Seat Belt Back Attacks by Paul Schreiner
Every instructional Paul Schreiner has made is excellent and really are must watches. This one continues that pattern, and teaches so many great details that will help you retain back control via the seatbelt system and on the submissions that follow. I learned a great amount on how to be thinking about back control from this instructional, and one thing that stood out in my mind was the closest you are to getting the back is when you are first losing it. By using the skills from this instructional you’ll have a better idea on how to retain back control and continue your attacks.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Awesome body lock

The Ultimate Takedown Series Volume 1: Gripping & Kuzushi by Travis Stevens
Travis is always interesting to listen to and this is one of the most comprehensive grappling videos I have ever watched. I don't know of too many other resources that answer so many questions or so much information in one place before.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:I hate I have to buy all of Craigs instructionals...
Craig presents a dynamic and aggressive way to play guard. As always he is clear and concise with just enough humour that it makes watching a pleasure. If you want to adapt turtle to no gi, like wrestling up, or enjoy other funk wrestling, this is a must-have.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very helpful
Buzzsaw Passing: Gi by Andrew Wiltse
Great passing instructional, connects concepts in away that's effective and easy to understand.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Low ratings for this are nonsensical & unfair
The Winning Fundamentals Of MMA by Chael Sonnen
The criticism about this course seems nonsensical. At the beginning of the trailer he informs that he will be helping one establish not just moves, but a philosophy for fighting. He got a 1 star review for doing what he said he would do? The other criticism (3 stars) came from overlap with his wrestling content, which was his base style before MMA. This is an articulate expert who knows how to teach through the medium of video.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great resource
The Straight Armlock Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Huge fan of all of Lachlan's videos, think his are the best bang for your buck, so picked this one up a while back. Great resource, didn't dive into it head on like I have some of the others, more of a resource I find myself coming back to regularly to look at details/scenarios that come up in training, so far all of which he talks about in the video.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent drills
Competition Tested Gi Training by Tomer Alroy
The drilling section on this instructional is excellent for all levels. I enjoy the lapel traps, but the drills alone are worth the price

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Unconventional in the best way possible
Fundamentals of a Jiu Jitsu Renegade by Kurt Osiander
Kurt Osiander takes you through a series of moves that at first seem highly effective, but unconnected to each other. The beauty is it introduces you to the guards and positions needed to perform the techniques (giving you a sampling of that style of game) and, by doing so, forces you to find the transitions in your own game to make the effective. It truly is basics you can add to your own game that you may not yet have,helping you build a solid foundation while introducing you to slightly more technical and advanced concepts like lasso, lasso-spider, etc.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Stack the deck in your favour.
Middle Aged BJJ by Tom DeBlass
Great stuff not just for older practitioners but for everyone. Shows you how to slow the game down and take away some of the variables of grappling which is jiu jitsu in a nutshell.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Why did I wait so long to buy this?
The Brabo/Darce Evolution by Dave Porter
Mr. Porter is a gosh darn wizard and he does a DEEP dive on finishes and so many amazing setups from everywhere! So many nice mechanics that it added details to some of my other favorite sequences too! I’ve been buying instructional content for +15 years and this instructional is one of my all time favorites! 10/10 would recommend :trophy:

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Improve your positional escape skills
The Great Escapes by Chris Haueter
This is a four volume positional escape instructional covering the following positions: side control, Kesa Gatame, mount, side mount (i.e., technical mount), knee ride and back control. The escapes are taught by Chris Haueter with the assistance of a number of his black belts - Melissa Haueter, Jamico "Jay" Elder and Sam Kressin. Instruction and commentary are provided by both Chris Haueter and the other instructor that he is partnered with for that particular technique. In this instructional it is assumed that the opponent may use their positional dominance to punch you in the face, so the escapes generally make an allowance for this risk. The teaching to me is dynamic with the interaction of two people teaching the technique. Techniques are repeated multiple times. A fun bonus is watching Melissa Haueter’s effective and flexible movement and to me an almost magical ability to get armbars. The video and sound quality are fantastic. A handheld stabilised camera has been used so the camera follows the action and the range is excellent. The video is in my opinion professional quality, a cut above the standard for most BJJ instructionals. The available previews are consistent with the whole instructional in terms of presentation and video and sound quality. There are lots of positional escape instructionals that are available and what makes this instructional different is having several different instructors teaching a series of fundamental positional escapes. These instructors display their knowledge, skill and energy and this, plus the format of the instructional kept me engaged with the content. This instructional has a total runtime of 2 hours and 23 minutes.

Sambo Academy: Combat Sambo by Ivan Vasylchuk
I’m a judo brown belt who hasn’t trained strikes in a dogs age. I bought this dvd with the intention on learning how to implement strikes into a grappling context. I love the striking entries into a clinch where I can work my throws. I intend on drilling these with my coach in self defense oriented classes.

Killer Turtle Attacks by Mike Palladino
I really like the way Mike breaks attacks down into front headlock, turtle facing the head and turtle facing the legs. It helps to break down what the options are from each position and stops you from just attacking the back or guillotine

No Gi Open Guard Volume 1: K Guard by Lachlan Giles
I've always trained the gi and mainly focused on the gi, but I felt recently like learning no-gi and taking no-gi more serious. this instructional kick started my no-gi game and helped me get off to a running start. What Lachlan has taught me about K guard not only helped me in no-gi but also taught me new ideas and techniques to apply to the gi in different ways as well! fantastic instructional!

Worry Free Escapes by Dean Lister
Great instructional by Dean Lister. Everything he shows is really applicable with no uneccessary steps in the techniques. Tried the techniques out with some friends and training partners and works great. Dean deserves credit for being realistic about that some submission escapes do not always get you out of a bad spot (they may pass your guard, take your back etc.), but at least you are safe from getting tapped (or broken). All around great stuff. Thank you Dean!
