It's a great introduction to Bernardo's passing game, he also combines his passing with other aspects of his game, great for pressure passers.

Master Sauer goes over great techniques and concepts to avoid being mounted and what to do if you are. He breaks down side control and knee on belly as well. Great instructional.

BJJ Accelerator Blueprint by Stephen Whittier
Prof Stephen's this DVD is a real road map for beginners. He has some unorthodox and conceptual ideas which you can instantly apply on the mat. For example the bottom side control and bottom mount positions he suggests are different from what is mainly thought in schools but i can say they really apply and makes sense. Thanks.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Best no-gi half guard instructional out there
Systematically Attacking From Half Guard by Gordon Ryan
I bought this instructional with a specific purpose: to improve my no-gi half guard game having trained predominantly in the gi so far. This instructional was perfect. It is conceptual but rich in techniques, and will give you lots of attacking options against aggressive and stalling top game players. My only reservation is that you may also need Gordon’s seated guard instructional to get the most out of this one, as some techniques are covered in greater detail there. Highly recommended nonetheless.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very good
They Shall Not Pass by Gordon Ryan

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:An excellent instructional on the rubber guard ***(Long review)***
Rubber Guard: The Meathook by Brandon McCaghren
For me the noticeable thing about this instructional is the calm and thorough instruction provided by Brandon McCaghren. He clearly provides the detail of each technique, explains “the why” of a technique and stays on point (i.e., there is very little unnecessary banter). I noticed from watching several different rubber guard instructionals that Brandon McCaghren highlights important details that some other instructors did not. The material taught follows a logical and sequential structure. For each chapter he teaches the technique and for some techniques the variations. At the end of each chapter in a form of summary he repeats the technique that has just been taught. The instructional runs for a total of 2 hours and 47 minutes and comprises of 46 chapters. The instructional has been filmed with a fixed camera. The quality of the video is good with the range and focus being appropriate. Sound is clear and there are no issues with the microphone. As is often the norm demonstrations are provided from different angles, so it is easy to see the required detail. If you are interested in the rubber guard, then in my opinion this is a must buy instructional. It will help you understand and advance your knowledge of the rubber guard system and in particular the use of the meathook and carni positions. Brandon McCaghren’s teaching is excellent. Importantly I would suggest that even if you are not particularly interested in the rubber guard this instructional would still be worthwhile purchasing, as it will open your eyes to the possibilities (or threats) of the rubber guard. The uke generally never gets a mention but, a big thank you to Placido Santos for your efforts and the obvious pain you went through in the making of this instructional. The next section of the review gives an overview of the content of this instructional by volume, if this information interests you. Volume 1 (50 minutes and 13 chapters) includes a discussion about the rubber guard; the importance of flexibility including some effective stretches to improve and maintain hip flexibility; several effective ways to move your hip when you are in the guard (using a clinch to control the opponent’s head and posture) ending in the mission control position; techniques to breakdown the opponent’s posture; the initial progression of the rubber guard (i.e., obtaining mission control, using the zombie to move to New York, and to chill dog); and the second half of the volume covers the omaplata sequence from chill dog, including dealing with the likely responses from the opponent. In the final chapter the sorcerer submission is taught. I think this has to be one of the nastiest submissions possible i.e., simultaneously armbaring both arms of the opponent at the same time as also applying a neck crank. Finally, a key point from Volume 1 is the importance of body angle (i.e., being on your side) when doing the rubber guard, as this makes it easier for less flexible people. Volume 2 (42 minutes and 11 chapters) includes an introduction to the meathook position, which combines being on your side, your leg over their shoulder and the same side arm to secure your opponent; gaining, controlling and retaining the inside space from the meathook position; a series of entries into the meat hook position from the butterfly, lockdown and Z guard; how to appropriately clear the opponent’s head so that you can move your foot to the inside side of their head in preparation for several submissions; and the last three chapters cover submissions (i.e. Gogo clinch and Gogoplata) and an entry to other submissions using the Gogo launch. Volume 3 (43 minutes and 12 chapters) includes a very tightly controlled triangle choke commencing from the meathook position; a potential shoulder lock if the opponent defends the triangle; a shoulder lock from the meathook position when the opponent attempts to punch you; a neck crank commencing from the meathook position; the carni position finishing with a shoulder lock; from the carni position a wristlock; a roll from the carni position in response to the opponent rolling; a sweep from the carni position; a technique from the carni position called the contortionist submission where the opponent’s leg is controlled and stretched until they tap; a heel hook from a carni sweep; from the carni position the monoplata shoulder lock; and the oprah hook position, as an alternative to the carni in limited situations. Volume 4 (32 minutes and 10 chapters) teaches the rubber guard from the mount (top). The entry into the techniques initially involves the opponent on the bottom reaching upwards with both arms to grab and pull themselves up underneath the person on top. This reaction is not what you would typically expect from a student in a BJJ school, but may be experienced in scenarios that involve the risk of striking.
Triangle Masterclass
Triangle Masterclass by Rodrigo Cavaca
I was trash with my triangle attempts, I would try other moves even if a triangle was present. Now, I start with triangle attempts and finish with them and i'm a threat when you enter my closed guard. Thank you Master Cavaca!

Effective Wrestling For Gi Jiu-Jitsu by Adam Wheeler
Thanks Adam Wheeler. The moves taught in this instructional fit well with what my coach has already taught me over the years. With clear and concise instruction from you, I was able to watch the 1st chapter and then hit the same moves on most of my training partners on the 1st lesson I attended after studying this instructional.

Butterfly Guard Rediscovered 3.0 by Adam Wardzinski
I first trained with Adam in 2018 and have been following his content ever since. Completely changed my game, I use butterfly from pretty much everywhere now, Gi or Nogi.

How to Pass Guards Quickly and Easily Using Leg Attacks by Craig Jones
I've only started adding leg locks to my game. I am more of a guard passer so playing around with leg entanglements and using them to pass the guard has been quite fun. Hopefully I can pull off some these moves on Craig's older brother.

The Complete Butterfly Guard by Marcelo Garcia
Great information. I was literally doing EVERYTHING wrong when attempting to utilize the butterfly guard. The instruction was great and Marcelo presents it very understandably. After watching all 4 discs twice I took it to the gym and was using it like I had been doing it for a year. No more pancakes by bigger guys. Great to have in the arsenal.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Absolutely Brilliant!
Combat Sports Ground and Pound by Mick Hall
This is exactly was I was looking for! Will there be a Volume II? If not, is there anywhere that I can find more of this style of grappling/GnP? Thanks for putting this out!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:The Art of Becoming a Muay Thai Champ
The Art of Becoming a Muay Thai Champion by Petchdam
I thoroughly enjoyed this instructional based on the fact that not only is it unique to southpaws but it delves into tricks of the craft for entries but safeties close range and in the clinch. No your ordinary Mauy Thai instructional and will open your eyes to better offense and defensive southpaw tactics in the ring.

Have really enjoyed this DVD. Nice flow and camera angles. Easy to listen to.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Absolutely unbelievable!
The Ultimate Rubber Guard by Eddie Bravo
This feels like the Kung Fu novels I read growing up in Taiwan (China) where some down on his luck guy stumbles upon an ancient scroll in a cave that explains a secret style and the man returns to rule the land :smiley::smiley: To have the inventor and master of the entire 10th Planet system go over all of the specific details? Priceless!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Nothing but top notch content from Paul Schreiner
Connected Reaction Armlocks and Spiral Armlocks by Paul Schreiner
Paul Schreiner is the type of Coach that immediately adds value to the portion of your game that he is teaching you. It goes without saying that the quality of Paul's instruction is at the very top of the food chain, but to get someone that can convey details and concepts that immediately change your game is a rarity, especially through a video instructional. Even as a black belt with over a decade of experience I gained new knowledge and focus that allowed for my armlock game to thrive against quality opponents and training partners. This is a must own if you want to improve your armlock game!
