Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:At Home Drills by Helena Crevar
At Home Drills - NO GI by Helena Crevar
I highly recommend. I did not know how I would like this instruction, since it was a 14 year old girl teaching it. After review the whole instructional I can honestly say it's a great instructional. Helena does a great job instructing and is stright to the point. The drills are awesome and I am already drilling them them on my grappling ***** (maximus). Helena is a great grappler with almost 10 bout in tournaments with only 4 losses. I believe the drills she teaches are the same drill that help her improve her game. I do wish she did some gi drills, which I do have on a different instructional , but I like Helena instructional far better. Great to put in your tool box if you have a *****.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great information on how to control your opponent and dominate!
Wrestling For BJJ by Hudson Taylor
For someone not coming from a wrestling background, this series is outstanding for learning how to control your opponent and get them to the mat in full control. Although this series does not go into the positions and submissions you would use in BJJ, once you have control of them you can easily see where your BJJ positions and submissions can be applied. Well done and detailed video series from a wrestlers viewpoint that will up your game. Thank you!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Old school fundamental (GI) mount control and submissions ***(Long review)***
The Roger Gracie Mount System by Roger Gracie
In this instructional Roger Gracie teaches his mount system from the point when a student is just going to the mount. It includes how to secure and maintain the mount and a series of appropriate and effective submissions. The material taught is fundamental old school GI techniques. Volume 1 (20 minutes and 3 chapters) includes an introduction where the key messages from Roger Gracie include: to firstly secure good control, so that you can maintain the mount before attempting submissions and to focus your learning on only a few submission techniques, so that these can be perfected; how to secure the mount, where Roger Gracie teaches how to stop the opponent escaping by either using bridging or an elbow escape; and finally how to isolate and control the opponent’s arms in preparation for a submission. Volume 2 (31 minutes and 4 chapters) includes: how to effectively hold the mount when you move from having your body held almost against the opponent’s body (i.e., flat with one arm controlling their head) to where your upper body is almost vertical (i.e., sitting on the mount); how to easily clear the opponent’s arms/elbows to enable you to move to the high mount in preparation for the application of submission techniques , including the importance of remaining connected to the opponent; how to counter attempts from your opponent to re-guard you (i.e., they attempt to turn, frame and insert an elbow inside one of your legs to escape your mount); and the final chapter covers how to break your opponent’s defensive grips when you are attempting to submit them by an armbar. Volume 3 (47 minutes and 6 chapters) covers submissions including armbars with particular emphasis on entering with multiple variations (x3) and completion; the Ezekiel choke; the cross-collar choke and a wristlock from mount. Importantly this volume includes a lot of important detail that increases the efficiency and effectiveness of these submissions. The limited number of submission techniques in this volume reflects Roger Gracie’s advice given in the first volume to study and practice only a limited number of techniques, so that you will be confident in their application. In this regard, training a limited number of effective techniques should mean that you will be able to quickly recognise submission opportunities and you won’t have to think about what to do, as it should be second nature to you. I would argue that for most people a basic and reliable technique that works 99% of the time is better than a complex and specialised technique that only has limited application and for you may only works some of the time. Picture and sound quality are excellent. A single camera has been used and the range is excellent, as you can easily see the details of each technique. The available previews are consistent with the whole instructional. Roger Gracie speaks clearly. In my opinion, he is easily understood. There is no banter. He presents in a professional manner and discusses the detail that makes the difference between techniques working reliably or not. This includes the likely responses from your opponent and how to respond to these actions. Again, maintaining the mount position is a constant theme throughout the instructional. In summary, if you are looking to improve your confidence, in both holding the mount (top) position and being able to submit your opponent, then I would recommend this instructional.

The De La Riva System Part 2: Knee Torque, Overhead and Submissions by Mikey Musumeci
This DVD helped me develop my DLR guard so much. I already had a decently working DLR guard but these details helped make it work more often and play even more effectively. Also as an instructor was very helpful to have it taught with so many good details.

Cradle of Filth by Neil Melanson
Excellent instructional, really enjoyed Neil's teaching style, very funny and entertaining as well. Given me plenty to think about towards using the cradle for passing control, subs, and back takes which I've been putting to use in sparring - even with very minimal drilling for the positions/subs. Only criticism (if I can call it that) It would have been nice to learn/hear Neil's thoughts on how to counter/escape the position. Thanks Neil!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Such a extraordinary skill! Awesome
The Crucifix and Loop Choke by Alexandre Vieira
I really recommend this because he has various techniques about crucifix and loop choke which are totally different from others. This video worth much more than its price.

The Anti-Wrestling Equation by Craig Jones
Really great instructional. This is not just a front headlock instructional, it teaches how to deal with rear body locks, turtle, and controlling and attacking the back. An excellent addition as the sport continues to evolve and incorporate wrestling

Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
To most practitioners these drills aren't anything new, but the level of detail Mr. Danaher goes into is fantastic. We all know that we SHOULD do these things, but not always WHY we should do them. Here's your answer. Great exercises and details for all levels.

Jordan Teaches Bottom Half Guard by Jordan Preisinger
I really enjoyed this DVD - not the least of which I enjoy Jordan's YouTube channel which has been a delightful BJJ resource. Jordan's instructions can be best described as "general overview of technique, general timing of technique, important details". For the busy professional like myself who enjoys encyclopedic resources (see: Danaher, Ryan, Schreiner) but doesn't always have time to view them, Jordan's DVD is a succinct collection of techniques that make up his half-guard game. It feels like a distilled viewing of what works for him best with contingencies for each technique. I was most surprised that in many of the techniques there are additional details and concepts for sweeps and submissions including omoplata and triangles. A fun bonus! I eagerly await Jordan's next DVD.

The Anti-Wrestling Equation by Craig Jones
Jokes aside it changed my game and I'm much more dangerous in the front head lock. I feel much more comfortable in the feet as well and taught me that I don't need to be super athletic to be an effective wrestler in jiu jitsu.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very valuable
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
This really helps! Grab someone or more and learn the things from DVD 3 and 4 on. Just do those and the back attack escape for 2 or 3 months a few times a week. Just 20 minutes. From white belt on. And review it after one or two years. You will have gained a substantial trust in your ability to escape. Which will lead you to becoming a monster in the making. Just watch the plenty details John gives you and take them by heart. It will help. Thx John!

Gravity Is Your Friend: Sit Up guard Sweeps by Thomas Rozdzynski
Brilliant approach to sweeping and reversing. I love the details and overall concerts.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Just too much - and that is why it is plenty good
Open Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
So many details, so much information. Open guard is damn hard to systematize. But John gives 4 principles that will make it easier. It is a daunting undertaking. And I still have to take it all in and beyond that have to transfer it to the mats. But I will! And maybe you as well!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Neil’s half guard system is
The Ground Marshal Half Guard by Neil Melanson
Neil’s half guard system is brilliant. The entries and grips help weaken or prevent your training partner’s whizzer and d’arce chokes. So it seems like one of the safer half guard systems. The moves are powerful, great sweeps, guillotines and even an a bar from half guard. His teaching style adds greatly. He is relaxed and level headed
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Really clear instructions and comprehensively explained.
Wrist Locks From Everywhere by Travis Stevens
Really clear instructions and comprehensively explained. Also love the idea of wrist locks being used as an attack to improve or advance positions rather than just as an end in themselves.

Offensive Wrestling For Jiu Jitsu Volume 1: Basic Singles and Doubles by Dante Leon
This instructional is a good and simple overview over the set ups and follow ups of single - and double legs . The explanation is good and not to complex and long. I liked it and could execute a lot of the techniques in sparring :muscle:
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:100% worth
Triangles Enter The System by John Danaher
100% worth the money. John does very well at fully explaning the technique and pretty much every around it which helps give a very complete understanding of the technique and when to apply it. John also spend precious time explaining the philosophy and concept behind the technique which really gives a deeper understanding of it. Finally, for those who also have to live with their gym closed because of covid, I think its a super nice way of having class at home that you can practice with a friend or your wife to keep progressing.
