Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Thorough coverage of armlock and armbar escapes
Ultimate Armlock Escapes by Henry Akins
Objective of this instructional This instructional teaches a range of effective submission escapes from the kimura, americana, and the armbar from many different positions. In addition, there is a chapter on a really simple and practical omaplata escape. Contents Note the following references to top or bottom position, is from the perspective of the person escaping the submission. Volume 1 (38 minutes and 10 chapters) covers: the americana from the mount bottom position (x 4 techniques); americana from side control bottom; americana from half guard top; kimura from side control bottom (x 3 techniques); and dealing with the kimura grip. Volume 2 (41 minutes and 9 chapters) covers: kimura from north-south bottom (x 3 techniques); kimura from half guard top (x 2 techniques); kimura closed guard top (x 3 techniques); and straight arm lock from side control bottom. Volume 3 (49 minutes and 8 chapters) covers: armbar from the closed guard top including the belly down armbar (x 5 techniques); armbar being applied when you are lying flat on your back; and kimura grip leading to armbars from technical mount bottom (x 2 techniques). Volume 4 (59 minutes and 11 chapters) covers: armbar when you are lying flat on your back (x 7 techniques); armbar from S mount bottom; armbar from closed guard top when the opponent has used the shoulder swallow; armbar from technical mount bottom; and an omaplata escape. Henry demonstrates the techniques, provides clear instructions, and as is his style provides a relevant and useful discussion around each technique. As with the other Henry Atkins instructionals that I have purchased I found it easy to stay engaged with the content. Sound and picture quality are good. Importantly the range of the camera is excellent, so you can clearly see the details of each technique. The angles of the technique displayed are appropriate. The available previews are consistent with the whole instructional. In my opinion most people when rolling will come up against opponents or training partners that will be bigger, stronger, quicker, have better cardio, know more, have better techniques etc and this is why it is essential to also have great defensive techniques including escapes from submissions and additionally have good positional escape techniques. It has been said many times that if you have learnt and practiced good escape techniques you will have the confidence to take risks and try submissions where you will lose the dominant position if your submission fails. Henry’s armlock escapes instructional is a great way to dramatically improve your understanding of effective escapes from the kimura, americana and the armbar. OK, if somehow you are the biggest, the best and you always beat all comers, then buy this instructional to improve your submissions. Knowing how people escape assists with countering submission escapes and generally assists with tightening up your submission techniques. The total length of the instructional is 3 hours and 7 minutes long.

Coach Roddy's Blueprint by Owen Roddy
This video is a masterpiece in the art of striking concepts. I wanted to implement a advanced striking style similar to my idol Conor McGregor. Being an amateur boxer I really enjoy how the philosophies of Coach Roddy are explained. His techniques are simply broken down so that a beginner can understand the advanced ideology of pure striking. This training video will be a must have cornerstone for anyone wanting to learn! I will definitely be referring back to this video for a quick mental work out while not in the gym!

Introduction To Becoming A Side Control Assassin by Latif Kadri
As a white belt who is consistently side controlled in most transitions prior to being submitted, this instructional provides the perspective I need to improve and even use as a starting point to build my offensive and defensive games.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:A truly unique approach to defense and side control bottom
Introduction To Becoming A Side Control Assassin by Latif Kadri
Latif is one of my main training partners and coach at my gym. Normally when you pass someone's guard, you get side control. With Latif you might manage to pass his guard, but once you arrive on his side, you notice you don't have control. Latif has a really unique way to (counter-)attack from sidecontrol bottom with a combination of chokes and kimura's. You either get caught or you have to be very careful with your pressure. In which case Latif can use your hesitation to recover his guard. Latif has a really unique game and I definately recommend you check out his instructional!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Battle tested
Introduction To Becoming A Side Control Assassin by Latif Kadri
Finally someone that reaches you how you be powerful from a position that is considered to be bad. I can personally attest to Latifs understanding and implementation of these concepts from bottom side. After watching this instructional, People Will fear to put you in side control as you Will have An answer that is much more than just An escape. 110% would recommend.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Phenomenal. Andrew lays everything out
Buzzsaw Passing: Gi by Andrew Wiltse
Phenomenal. Andrew lays everything out in a clear, concise, and organized manner, and he does it in a way that’s simple enough for a beginner to understand but detailed enough to satisfy more advanced people. Occasionally, he tells Birs (his brother) to just “resist” and then demonstrates the technique against a resisting partner. I’ve been using these ideas to great effect. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Amazing source of information
Law Enforcement Grappling Solutions by Ryan Scialoia
This is a great instructional. I’m not even a cop, but I used the information taught here to subdue random people in the street who I feel have wronged me. Whether it’s an offensive glance that lasts too long or if they slap my girls ***, I cuff em, then I stuff em. Works 80% of the time every time.

Ne-Waza Mastery by Travis Stevens
White belt in Judo here, but I have been doing BJJ most of my adult life. Travis Stevens' Ne Waza DVD is top notch! His instruction is clear and understandable, the angles are perfect in capturing each nuance, and the selection of techniques - very useful. My sincere hope is that Travis will put together a solid fundamental Judo set which will cover each respective throw and perhaps application in competition and/or self defense situations. This would be a great resource for someone like me looking to move up the ranks and shave a bit off the learning curve. Again, this is a top notch instructional which will be a strong ally in greatly improving your Judo. Thank you Travis.
