The Art & Science Of Ground And Pound Part 1 by Greg Jackson
I do like Mr. Jacksons approach to ground and Pound. Very scientific and detailed. So far I watched 2 of his instructionals on the topic. Can't wait for the next. I do recommend to anyone interested in the topic.

I really do love the teaching style of firas. Easy to learn combos and I can apply them right away in training. Since the content is really dence therefore I think the the length of his instructional is more than enough. I recommend this DVD for athletes and coaches alike on any level.

I didn't know Mick beforehand. Since I wanted to expand my horizon in Ground and Pound I got this DVD. I was quite surprised of his work. Since I do amateur MMA and started to teach it as well. The content is also dence and very well explained. My recommendation

Kidz Jiu-Jitsu Headlock Escapes by Firas Zahabi
Short and crisp. I think it was an valuable dvd. Since I've been teaching kids classes for year it gave me some "new old" ideas. Also the way Firas teaches is interesting... At least for me. In my opinion the content is easily applicable to any class you may teach in your club.

No Gi Open Guard Volume 1: K Guard by Lachlan Giles
Insanely good stuff. Giles’ vids always impress me with the level of detail, and options provided. If you want to develop spider sense his vids are a must. K guard isn’t easy but he breaks it down so completely you can build your game with it with 100% confidence. Game changing video in my book.

Control The Chaos by Bjorn Friedrich
This is a really great video series. Friedrich is a great teacher and really understand how to contextualize Jiu-Jitsu for self-defense. He knows just what details on which to place the most importance, and what he teaches is well-organized and linear. Probably my favorite video series I’ve seen on BJJ for self-defense.

His explanations on tactics are awesome. It gave me a better understanding of tactics in general. A much underrated topic and I didn't see any instructional like this before. It's less about techniques tho. Recommended 👍�

Power Punching by Mike Winkeljohn
I loved this DVD. So many details on punching and movement. It was artful. His style resembles Mike Tyson's quite a bit. Yet embedded in an MMA scenario. Don't be misguided by just a few punches on the DVD. I think it was worth it and the content shows Mr. Winkeljohn's enormous experience in the field.

KO is an extremely talented jiu jitsu player. The series has great fundamentals and great details. I use a lot of it. It’s a solid base to build a good fundamentals. I learned a lot from Kurt. It’s a great video for review and for new players.

Go Further Faster Bundle by John Danaher
I winced a bit at the full package price, decided 'hey..it's fathers day and the wife left me unsupervised with a credit card..why not'. Then I watched 'just' "Passing the Guard" video. 30 minutes in and Danaher hadn't even opened the guard yet...every nuance of the grips, the positioning, the standing, and most importantly the 'whys' are answered (and most professors hate the constant stream of 'whys' since if everyone in class did that, nothing would be learned or drilled). Worth every penny at full price. Thinking Christmas will be 'Enter the System' :-D .

The Headhunter Guillotine Series by Neil Melanson
One of my favorite things about Coach Neil's instructionals is that he begins from a logical starting point -- assuming you know very little about the submission or position he's covering. He always gives a good introduction, covers the basics and fundamentals, and progresses from there. I love this because I feel like it negates any bad habits the viewer may have picked up and makes sure everyone watching has the same starting point. So, for this instructional, you get the same quality introduction to the front headlock you would get if you had just joined a wrestling team. This is invaluable, especially for people who don't have any wrestling experience, because I feel like it's far easier to find mediocre front headlock tutorials on YouTube than it is good ones. I watched this instructional all the way through when I first bought it, and I continue to go back to it multiple times to rewatch certain segments. Anyone who's watched videos from Coach Neil knows he does an outstanding job of explaining what your whole body should be doing during a technique, from foot and leg placement, to weight distribution, grips, and head positioning. The specific chokes from this instructional I've been working on are the Boa Choke, Switch D'arce, and Handgun Choke. The Handgun Choke, in particular, seems incredibly versatile. If you like Coach Neil's YouTube tutorial for it, you'll be happy to know he provides significantly more details here. When you have your opponent in a front headlock, if you're someone who 1.) holds on and just keeps them there because you don't know what else to do, 2.) always spins around and takes the back without trying any submissions first, or 3.) is stuck in a rut of going for the same 1 or 2 submissions every time, I highly recommend getting this instructional.

The Complete Williams Guard by Shawn Williams
I'm drawn to this guard by the concept of being able to control posture without extreme flexibility. The details in this DVD are excellent, although there are so many packed into the volumes, that I find myself often going back through even the first two parts over and over again. It seems every time I re-watch it I learn something new. An excellent choice for those that like closed guard, especially in no-gi.
