Precision Back Takes by Lucas Lepri
Training this course make you a back hunter. After this DVD I naturally focus my game on taking the back and it work really well. He give some tips that are very usefull to take the back even with techniques that aren't in this dvd. Focus my game on taking the back every time that I can make me realize how it's amazing to take points. PLUS, Lucas Lepris teach how to take the back from top for sure, but also from bottom. And I personally don't have a solid game on bottom yet, but this allow me to compensate very well and I became more technical on bottom. Highly recommended.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Make the scissor sweep work for you and also learn a series of complementary techniques
The Forgotten Sweep by Jeff Curran
Objective of this instructional The scissor or basic sweep is probably one of the first sweeps you learn in BJJ and it is very effective sweeping someone with limited grappling experience, but often once someone is more experienced it can be easily defeated. This instructional revisits the scissor sweep and teaches an effective version of the sweep and then builds a series of techniques that rely on the entry to the scissor sweep and depending on the response from the opponent to either sweep or submit them. Content Volume 1 (32 minutes and 5 chapters including the introduction) covers: getting the correct grips and positions for your hands and getting your opponent’s posture forward; getting entry to and loading for the sweep with a focus on achieving appropriate connection, tension and pressure (i.e. push & pull) on the opponent; executing the sweep and going straight to the mount; and the last chapter covers the loop choke (i.e., position of your hand on their collar, grip, entry, connection of your arms, finishing and the option of entering a loop choke when setting up for a scissor sweep or in combination) . My observation is that Jeff Curran’s version of the sweep emphasises position, pressure, tension, breaking their balance and the bottom leg sweeping through above the lower part of the opponent’s leg using a hooking / scooping motion that allows you to stay connected with your opponent and with the use of your top leg to pull and climb directly into the mount. Volume 2 (33 minutes and 5 chapters) covers: a tight triangle set up from a modified entry to the scissor sweep including a second triangle setup to account for the situation where the opponent withdraws their trapped arm; a loop choke from a failed triangle attempt; a response for the situation where the opponent is being swept and they backstep and prop on their elbow allowing you to regain control and take the mount; a technique to respond to the opponent backstepping and then attempting to move to the top position that leads to a back-take; and how to respond if the opponent backsteps and then hesitates to move (i.e., they remain posting on their elbow), providing you with the opportunity to take the mount. Volume 3 (29 minutes and 4 chapters including the outro) covers: a response to the opponent back stepping and posting on this arm by applying a traditional kimura to their posting arm and this chapter includes how to deal with situations where the opponent grabs their belt to frustrate a kimura; a choking response (e.g., one handed collar choke guillotine, plus several others) to the situation where the opponent is swept, they base out and then use their head to spear into your upper torso to flatten you out; and responses (i.e., sweep, shoulder lock or a back-take) for the situation when attempting the scissor sweep the opponent pushes your top leg down to stop you sweeping them. Jeff Curran speaks clearly and his demonstrations of the techniques are easy to follow. He has a relaxed style and is easy to listen to. The techniques are not complicated, so this should assist with repeating and learning them. Sound and picture quality are good. A single fixed camera has been used and the range of the camera is excellent. The angles of the technique displayed are appropriate. The available previews are consistent with the whole instructional. Often, I find myself in a position to enter the scissor sweep, but with larger or more experienced opponents I could not always rely on successfully finishing the sweep. I was sceptical that the single version of the scissor sweep taught in this instructional would make a difference in the effectiveness of my scissor sweep, but after trying it Jeff Curran’s version of the sweep does make a difference and my sweep is much improved and more reliable. I have not had sufficient time to test each complementary technique taught in this instructional, however to date I have found the loop choke and triangle choke submissions are solid and they work. In summary, if you have always liked the scissor sweep and wish to make this technique more reliable and learn a series of complementary techniques built around the scissor sweep entry then this instructional should be of interest to you. I am pleased that I have purchased this instructional and look forward to mastering all of the content.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Darce wizardry
The Brabo/Darce Evolution by Dave Porter
This is a down to business setup directory for the darce. Porter, a darce expert, goes through his version of the finishing mechanics , which is not the only way to do it , but is definitely high level, well thought and well explained. If like me you learnt the Darce from JD (rotational finish, preferably mount finish) it would be different and easily combined with the JD method. Did help me a lot. But the real bulk and the real gold is just the very comprehensive and versatile set up list. You’ll hear a lot about the versatility of the darce but I have yet seen an instructional that will really deliver on this such as this one. Standing, top, passing, bottom, inferior position and honestly i didn't even study the gi set ups at all...Porter approach is clear and concise and its more of a tech directory than concept and principle based( which seems it could be more bcz he is obviously a very thoughtful and intelligent guy) but honestly it works and you don't need way more. Something I especially liked is the variety and breakdown of the darce from bottom side control, I have seen this set up before of course with Glover and Danahar, but porter has like 4 different variations of it, depending on opponent grips and control which I have not seen in other places. recommanded if you are into darce wizardry and want to have a super well rounded set up game for this particular choke.

Basics To Advanced: The Low Knee Shield by Aaron Benzrihem
I’ve bought quit a few half guard / knee shield style dvds. None of them have even come close to this. This really does feel like a system that can be applied and learnt gradually. Aaron is a great instructor, not too fast and not too slow, who has a great style of teaching. He is younger, but really is talented at explaining things. Do yourself a favour and give this a go, especially if you have some monsters on the mats that need to be slowed down.

Half Guard Passing and Dynamic Pins: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
😎Awesome instructional
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:This is great for new
Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
This is great for new white belts; it explains how to go from starting position in bottom closed guard to a position where you can submit your partner by first unbalancing them. It is very clear and specific and gives step-by-step instructions, but John can be a bit verbose at times. If the idea of a college lecture turns you off, then this video might not be for you. Also John does repeat key points because this video is meant for beginners. If you aren't a while belt you might find it to be needlessly repetitive.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt Requirements by Roy Dean
I am a white belt that has trained for 2 months and I have to say, this instructional has shown me more helpful information than the two months at my club has. It covers the basic moves but with adjustments that I haven’t seen from anyone else. The way he talks makes it easy to hear and understand. Very good and worth the money for me.

The Berimbolo System Part 2: Crab Ride & Leg Drags by Mikey Musumeci
For me, Mikey is the best. His teaching approach is similar to that of Danaher, but he goes even deeper when it comes to grips and body placement. This instructional is one of the best BJJ instructionals out there, let alone best bolo instructionals.

The Flow Chart System Open Guard Part 1 by Eric Laporte
Yes!!! I am a 47-year-old bjj black belt with a "white-belt" enthusiasm about learning, and I highly recommend this instructional to anyone who is ready to venture out of the comfort zone of the closed guard. With this instructional you are going to enjoy learning to play the open guard! Yes! I do believe that you too can safely learn and find success with it, in a matter of weeks, regardless of age, physical limitations or level of experience! How do I know? Coach Eric teaches at our school. He has helped more than a few of students, particularly the 30, 40, and 50+ to confidently expand their jiu-jitsu beyond the traditional closed guard fundamentals, and they enjoy learning this system and finding success with it over younger and more experienced training partners in a matter of weeks!!!

Wrist Lock The World by Pete Letsos
This series really opened up another world of possibilities for submissions that I didn’t really capitalize before. As an older bjj practitioner with some injuries I’m not as agile as I’d like to be and this video broadens my options. Pete does a good job of explaining how the wrist lock works and the detail behind the mechanics. I recommend this video.
