Very slick
Fundamental Armbar Mechanics by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
I love the Silverfox’s smooth technique. From what I have seen so far he shows very good details. However, parts of it seem to be more difficult to implement than I thought. E.g I would have loved to see a few more entries to the split guard. Initially I wanted to give him 4 stars but this would not have been fair

Leglocks: Enter The System by John Danaher
Great video
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Timeless Concepts
Timeless Kimura by Rafael Lovato
This is an extremely detailed explanation of a key Ude Garami (Kimura) concept for particularly side control. Like all good techniques it not only details the actual finish but also the minute details important when dealing with ‘bruisers’ eg the insertion of the fingers inside the opponent’s closed fist on the belt and subsequent grips ie thumb out. Sad for me as an old style Kosen Judo guy to see this excellent presentation when compared with some of the Judo presentations on the same topic. Could be an adjunct to Side Control. I particularly relate to the careful positioning and then the explosive action (and what to do if that doesn’t work!!). Simply first class! 😀😀

The Belly Down Footlock From Single Leg X by Tarik Hopstock
Excellent. Fantastic details on shin to shin, single leg x, and leg locks. Great instructional on effective modern techniques that you see wiltse, mica galvao, danaher guys, etc. using all the time but can't find anywhere with this level of detail and synergy.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Tremendous
Kimura Hunting by Kazushi Sakuraba
Don’t be dissuaded by Sakuraba using a translator or by Craig Jones being there. It actually adds to it. I feel like hearing everything get translated allows for better absorption. It almost feels like being at a seminar with them with Bernardo and Craig asking questions and proposing different scenarios for Saku to problem solve.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:This is a must have - heelhook defence
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Submissions Escapes by John Danaher
This instructional has the best heelhook defence and counter that i have watched. I have watched quite a number of heelhook defence instructionals and so far this dvd have covered everything - inside/outside heelhook, 50/50, as well as ashi garami variations. Unlike the other instructionals I have seen, every escape have a counter attack. This dvd is a must have. If you need to get a submission defence instructional this is it. Thank you so much for this Fanatics and Mr. Danaher.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Decided to purchase this instructional Mr Danaher recommending beginners focus on escapes. I love the concepts and the incredible detail. As a beginner I appreciated learning a heuristic approach to escapes, along with a mental checklist. This makes it easier to apply what I've learned to a range of different pins and scenarios. The details on specific escapes is what really stands out. There are so many tiny details that are easy to look over. Nothing gets looked over in this instructional. The explanations are so good, I was able to apply the techniques immediately with success. Looking forward to purchasing Guard Retention next!

The Art of Kundalini by Gian Randev
Kundalini Yoga is an integral part in any wellness life-style regimen; it just makes everything better. For me, I’m able to attune to my bodies sensory system and operate with markedly higher agility, laser-focus and stamina. This system works the parts in the body that no other work out has done for me - and I’ve tried a lot. The long term effects of a small daily commitment are the real fruits; this includes mental agility - the ability to quite literally alter the structure of space-time. When you observe the greats, such as Michael Jordan, Mohamed Ali etc.. They seem to be operating on a different playing field. This is the type of energy these types of masters are tapped in to. If it seems lofty, don’t believe me. Try it out for yourself. It’s very practical and time-efficient, requiring as little as 3 minutes a day to get started. Gian Randev is a true practitioner and he presents these techniques in a concise and easy-to-follow manner for every level of experience.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:The secret is in the details to hold and submit from the mount
Unlocking The Secrets Of The Mount Position by Pedro Sauer
Objective of this instructional The objective of this instructional is to teach you how to defeat your opponent’s attempts to escape mount bottom by using either the elbow escape or the upa escape and to teach a range of effective submissions, while confidently maintaining the mount. Content Volume 1 (31 minutes and 9 chapters including the introduction) covers: how (i.e. appropriate angle of the foot for the circumstances) and where you should place your feet when in the mount top position, the importance of keeping your legs soft and consequently allowing your opponent to move your knee outwards from your body rather than backwards and therefore not allowing them to get their leg under your leg (i.e., to defend against the entry of an elbow escape); the importance of keeping your opponent flat, so that (for most people) they can’t easily place their escaping leg flat on the mat and how to do this; how you should connect with your opponent, appropriately position yourself and move your hips, legs and feet to make it difficult for your opponent to successfully use the elbow escape; how to deal with the opponent’s arm when they are pushing your leg and the requirement to avoid your leg being pushed in a line parallel to their leg; how to reposition the opponent’s arm from your knee using a walking hand motion (i.e. “the jack”) and using connection (i.e. initially with your body and the floor); how to disconnect an opponent’s elbow from inside your leg by walking their head; and the windshield wiper technique, which can be used to hide your lower leg, if they advance the elbow escape. Volume 2 (30 minutes and 10 chapters) covers: how to deflect their frame across your hips or deal with the opponent’s hands on your hips; how to respond to a bridging opponent; how to respond to a stiff single arm bridge; what to do if the opponent gets both of their arms deep inside one of your legs with the aim of escaping; dealing with a situation where the opponent bucks you forward and then wraps his arms around your torso (i.e., body lock); how to deal with an opponent with their hands in a prayer position; how to deal with a situation where the opponent has both his elbows inside your legs; how to use a really simple and fast counter to the start of an upa escape, where the opponent has just trapped one of your arms; and the situation where you think the opponent is going to use the upa escape to position yourself to take advantage of this movement to glide into a S mount position with the option of taking the S mount armbar. Volume 3 (35 minutes and 15 chapters) covers a range of efficient and effective submissions including chokes, wrist locks, Americana locks and armbars. The techniques are designed to enable you to maintain top position or if the top position is lost while performing the submission to successfully complete the submission. Picture and sound quality are good. A single camera has been used and the range is excellent, as you are close to the action and can easily see the details of the technique. The available previews are consistent with the whole instructional. Professor Sauer is clearly very knowledgeable. His instructions and demonstrations are clear. I found this instructional maintained a good pace and the Professor was able to maintain my attention. As is the norm with BJJ instructionals the techniques are repeated multiple times with different angles. In summary, as is often the case in BJJ the little details makes so much difference and this instructional is full of those details to make you much more confident in holding and submitting from the mount. In my experience the techniques in this instructional are not complicated to learn or recall. My ability to hold the mount has definitely improved after watching and practicing the techniques in this instructional. The total length of the instructional is 1 hour and 36 minutes long.

Great instructional vidéo!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great for beginners to advanced
Framing Domination and Guard Recovery by Tom DeBlass
Great instructions on a solid plan. Everyone of deblass DVDs I got so far have been incredible. His concepts are battle tested and work for all sizes. Tom shows framing from top and bottom and shows you how to make it more effective and easy to apply to your game .
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Not satisfied
Worry Free Escapes by Dean Lister
I did not enjoy this video. 80% of this is leg escapes and the little bit of regular escapes seems like he just thought of an escape off the top of his head for the video. I will not be buying any thing else from this instructor. The instruction just seems sloppy.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great Display and Breakdown of Craig's Iconic Neck Tie System
Scottish Necktie System by Craig McIntosh
Very useful guide on how the Scottish Neck Tie system works. Giving you multiple ways to transition from submissions and finish your opponent whilst having a strong control over them. A good showing of how to keep the position if the submissions fail. Already see this paying off after a couple of sessions in the gym watching and drilling this instructional.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Make Closed Guard your arsenal with this instructional
The Closed Guard by Bernardo Faria
Overall, I think this is a good instructional. I won't go through the list of things you will get to learn from Bernardo, as you can find them listed on the page itself. What I like about this instructional: - Bernardo explains it very simply in a way that I think most people would be able to understand. This is key as I think not all experts are good teachers and Bernardo Faria is a good teacher. - The list of techniques shared will make your Closed Guard game dangerous to your opponent. However, the techniques are not just taught in isolation. I like that there are links between the techniques and Bernardo explains "what happens when this fail; how do you transition to another sweep or submission if this doesn't work" etc. - Bernardo goes over the little details to make sure viewers know how to do it right. For example, in Straight Overhook Choke, he talks about how instead of just pressing the forearm into our opponents' neck, the detail is to move the elbow closer to our opponents' chest (if I remember it correctly). I appreciate details like these as I believe little nuances like these make all the difference. What I think can be improved: - The camera angles can definitely be improved. While I appreciate that Bernardo tries and move around so that the camera can capture what is going on "on the other side" of things, I still think there are nuances not completely captured properly which is a pity. - No subtitles when I view on demand. Would really appreciate it as I sometimes view the video while accompanying my daughter to sleep and it can be hard to follow properly as I can't really turn the volume up. Finally, while he talked about how to counter some of the attempts to open up closed guard, I would appreciate it more if he goes into slightly more details on these as well as teaching more counters. I like those as it was precisely what my partners have been doing to me, so now I can think about how to implement his teaching to counter. However, this may not be a fair comment as it may not have been Bernardo's intention to address these in this instructional. So, this is purely my own thoughts. Overall, I would recommend this instructional to anyone who is looking to make their Closed Guard more dangerous.
Leglock System

The Roger Gracie Mount System by Roger Gracie
I love all of Roger's material! Everything he teaches you will be able to put in your game. I'm a big fan and already have Roger Gracie TV, this instructional compliments it so well. My biggest wish is for a passing instructional -a break down of his pressure system in detail.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Gezary is Awesome

Mastering The Cross Collar Grip by Ante Dzolic
Ok...this is my third instructional of his and that should say a lot all by itself. I pretty much bought this one blindly because I liked the topic, and his other instructionals had an immediate impact on my game. This one is no different. Ante delivers...he’s an awesome instructor. It’s pretty simple... buy his instructionals and get better.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:If you get stuck in side control...BUY THIS!
Escaping From Side Control and Knee on Belly by Ante Dzolic
I got this because I have trouble in bottom side control. It helped and continues to help me many months after buying it. Learning a couple “head side” escapes really helped my basic leg side recovery rates and vice versa. I never heard of Ante when I bought this but he is an awesome teacher with great technique. I was able to apply his teachings with success right after watching. I’m a big fan of his teaching and bought a couple more of his instructionals because I liked this one so much....he’s one of the best values on this site. Do yourself a favor and buy this.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:wink::hugging: keep studying and training smart!Might buy it twice
Leg Lock Anthology: 50/50 by Lachlan Giles
Just as always with Lachlan, I feel like I paid too little for such extensive and great content. I am truly considering buying it twice just to show how much I appreciate all the time that he puts into this.

The Flower Sweep Basics To Advanced by Ante Dzolic
I love the basics! Roger Gracie proved the basics are timeless and Ante can teach you how. I bought this because his side control escape instructional was so damn good. This didn’t let me down either. I’m still working on good execution of the technique but I still have success. Even when I fail, sometimes there’s something else that presents itself that otherwise wouldn’t be there. So glad I got this...

Unifying The Systems: Navigating Between The DDS Submissions Systems by Garry Tonon
There were transitions on this instructional that I have never seen before. I am on youtube and instagram daily and still have not seen anything like what is featured on this instructional. I feel the most valuable part of this instructional is how to practically transition to the legs from many control positions and submissions. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this instructional and cannot wait to drill the transitions featured.
