Draculino!!!
Effective Old School Guard by Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhaes
Draculino is not only a Jiu Jitsu legend, but also happens to be in my opinion one of the best Jiu Jitsu instructors of all time.. I’m usually quite hesitant with videos, but all I needed was to read “Draculino” and I knew it would be good. His explanations are so very clear and concise that I’ve been able to successfully implement techniques and approaches immediately
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Inverted made Easy!
The Panda Guard by Nikki Sullivan
Nikki's calculated and thorough system of inverted attacks is next level slick. Love the attention to detail she shows and it really helps you apply the moves into your game as soon as you get back on the mat. 100 percent worth it!

Nice presentation yet basic knowledge and only 2 dvds. Might be good for a White belt .
Excellent insight
Middle Aged BJJ by Tom DeBlass
I was quite sceptical at first give Tom’s laid back and chatty style, but having used the techniques on my much faster and stronger son, I have found them to be really effective, so yes I would recommend
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:THE Compilation
Kettlebell StrongFirst by Pavel Tsatsouline
Former wrestler/entry level grappler here. I’m a young dad and would love to shell out cash to go to seminars or even a local SFG but time and money are always a factor. I honestly hadn’t considered buying this before i saw a sale but now I would pay $100 for it. Basically updated and compiled materials from pavel targeted towards the growing mma market. Been training hard style for about a year now and it is a huge difference than just using bells. Smart sustainable technique and programming from the masters!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:sunglasses::hugging:My son will let me drill with him. So I’m very happy with this purchase.
Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
The lessons knowledge is all impeccable the only way to truly utilize this. Is by drilling, so practice.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Incredible Hybrid System
Blackout Hybrid Cradle Gi System by David Petrone
High level BJJ with an amazing mix of catch wrestling to form the Hybrid approach to grappling. It will test you but if you keep with it the results are amazing. Great fitness, self defense and if you want to compete a fantastic team. I have owned a gym in the past and just started working in this system the past six Months. The results in my rolls are incredible and I am much more difficult to read when rolling on the mat. With the fee to lean!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent video series
Basics To Advanced: The Leg Drag by Aaron Benzrihem
All of Aaron Benzrihem's content is excellent. His teaching style is straightforward, he's concise, and the quality of the videography is high. No regrets with this purchase or his half butterfly series.

Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Only half way through and very impressed with the content. John breaks each move down into great detail.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:This instructional should be triple the price!
The Modern No Gi X Guard by Jon Satava
All I can say is WOW! The instructions are precise, Jon is easy to listen to and he doesn't bore you with long explanations that put you to sleep. It is to the point and precise. No details are left out and I am able to hit these moves live after very little time drilling them. This along with his Butterfly instructional is taking my game to new heights and I'm loving every minute of it.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Another great course
Kettlebell StrongFirst by Pavel Tsatsouline
Being both a BJJ player and a strong believer in Pavel's strength teaching, getting this course was a no brainer and I don't regret it. While there is a lot of overlap with other programs that Pavel has put together in the past, the techniques are more refined and the programming is based on newer principles. There is also a lot of things in the videos that I have no found elsewhere such as the breathing techniques and the stretches. Definitely a good program to follow, and I'm glad I added it to my collection.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Excellent instructional. This kept me from getting smashed in half guard and provided numerous sweeps from various set ups. The way the material is set up is very systematic as well. Also, he does not waste any time repeating himself. So its is about an hour and a half for each part of just solid instruction with a narrated roll or two thrown in. Incredibly solid work. The content and teaching methodology is the best I have found so far on BJJ fanatics.

The Catch Wrestling Formula by Neil Melanson

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:One Stop Shop for Kettlebell Techniques
Kettlebell StrongFirst by Pavel Tsatsouline
Excellent compilation of everything you wanted to know about kettlebells but forgot to ask or just forgot about over the years. With Pavel doing the explaining and two high level instructors demonstrating the techniques, what more can you ask for? This is like reducing a dozen courses or personal sessions with an SFG II into one excellent SparkNotes compilation. Well worth it for beginners as well as a great review for advance practioners.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Reflections on holding, attacking and sweeps from closed guard
The Timeless Closed Guard by Rafael Lovato Sr.
Objective of this instructional During the introduction Rafael Lovato Sr states that this instructional is aimed at the older practitioner, however he believes that regardless of your rank or age you will have fun with the techniques included in the instructional. The instructional addresses three components of the closed guard: holding, attacking and sweeps including adjustments to these techniques to better suit the older practitioner. The instructional provides specific insights to the closed guard rather than covering broadly the topic of the closed guard. Content Volume 1 (41 minutes and 11 chapters, including two chapters relating to introductions) covers: the use of two holding methods (i.e. with a focus on grips); how to respond to the opponent breaking your guard and passing from their knees leading to you sweeping and gaining side control; a response to an opponent standing up leading to a tripod sweep and ending with you gaining side control; a sweeping response (i.e. flower sweep) when they are in your closed guard and they place their foot within your range; braking the posture of a standing opponent and applying an armbar; how to transition to the guard headquarters position and then using a scissor sweep variant when the opponent breaks your guard by using both their arms to push against your belt; a method to take the opponent’s back when they attempt a single leg stack pass; a second method to take the back when the opponent attempts a single leg stack pass by relying on the use of a leg kick to defeat their underhook; and an early response to an attempted double leg stack pass leading to a re-guarding or the headquarters position or if you are late to respond to the opponent, a technique leading to a sweep. Volume 2 (36 minutes and 9 chapters) covers: a detail instruction on the conventional armbar including the likely response from the opponent leading to an opening for a triangle choke; three chapters are included on trouble shooting the triangle (i.e. responding to the opponent’s incorrect posturing to avoid the triangle and transitioning to an armlock; defeating the opponent’s posturing by using your legs to lock one arm and completing the triangle; and responding to an opponent who reacts to a triangle attempt by posturing forward to push your knees into your face by sweeping him and either completing the triangle from a prone position or using an armbar); trouble shooting the armbar (i.e. examining typical opponent posturing and pressure counters to your armbar that can be defeated by the pendulum sweep); a modified armbar that relies upon a two-on-one grip to quickly control their forward arm; dealing with the opponent blocking the cross choke through the use of an armdrag; as part of the previous technique there is the option to do an armdrag across their body but if they attempt to square up then to move to a pendulum sweep; and using a forward armdrag to get an overhook and choke from this position. Volume 3 (33 minutes and 11 chapters including the outro) covers: workshopping sweeps to improve entries or triggering reactions from the opponent to assist in getting into or successfully completing the sweep and refinements to the actual sweep to improve its success rate; and also creating options to combine sweeps with submissions. I personally liked the modified armbar and the entry to scissor sweep and switch to armbar. Sweeps covered include the sit up or hip bump, flower, scissor, underhook and omaplata. Rafael Lovato Sr speaks clearly and confidently. His instructions are easy to understand. As is the practice with BJJ instructionals techniques are repeated multiple times with verbal guidance. Picture quality is good with a sharp focus, however I believe that it would have been better if the camera had zoomed in closer to the action. Strangely it appears that the camera is on an angle as the angle of mats on the wall lean to the right, however this does not detract from the presentation. On balance the sound was fine. The camera work is basic and comprises a single fixed camera. As necessary, Rafael Lovato Sr physically moves to create different viewing angles. The preview clips are representative of the whole instructional and reflect the comments that I have just made. In summary, if you are wishing to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your closed guard as it relates to the topics covered in this instructional (i.e. grips / holding, attacks and sweeps) this instructional will have good value. I would recommend reviewing the list of techniques to determine if they would be useful for your game or solve problems that you are having with your closed guard game. The refinements to the techniques covered in this instructional reflect the many years of experience including teaching by Rafael Lovato Sr. By way of disclosure, I like and enjoy the closed guard. For me watching this instructional and seeing the refinements just puts a smile on my face and therefo

Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
This is a good series on the basics of jiu jitsu that will take you a long way. I found this series useful and helped improve my game. Bernardo shows his deep knowledge of brazilian jiu jitsu and his energetic presentation is engaging.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Sakuraba Anti-Juijitsu
Anti Jiu Jitsu by Kazushi Sakuraba
Really enjoyed this. One start off just for structure but think this is best view as less of a camp/clinic and more as a legend of the sport dropping into a class and getting opportunity to pick his brain. Bernardo and Jones do well to try and get it into a bit of structure but not easy. Craig Jones is clearly a fan and enjoying getting to pick Saka's brain on details. Bet money he got an autograph off camera. Surreal with a prowrestling masked translator but its Sakurabi so...of course :slightly_smiling: Great work getting Sakurabi to do this. Some great details both for folk's own game and to enjoy going back over his matches and seeing how he puts this stuff im action. I'm away to watch him beat Rampage again on youtube

Great video Garry Tonon gives great details on defending but attacking. Great setups the minute you defend the minute you go to offense for a submission. I always like playing defense in my rolls but now I got a great appreciation to work out of the defensive and submitting. Thanks Garry!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The long awaited Tactical Turtle
Tactical Turtle by Neil Melanson
Been waiting for this since Neil mentioned he was a turtle player in one of his first vids. This is fantastic material for developing a solid turtle game, something I've been trying to achieve with minimal resources; Telles instructional for example. But this series goes into so much depth. Heavy with concepts and techniques. It's going to take a good few months to work through properly but I would say the concepts alone are already helping me and I cant wait to really start adding in some of the techniques. In short this is probably the only turtle series you'll need it just covers everything. Certain stuff might need tweaked for Gi but concept wise itll be the same. Get a turtle game guys, never understood why there was so little out there on the position. Get this and start making guys look ******.

Basics To Advanced: The Low Knee Shield by Aaron Benzrihem
Man, the transitions from this position are limitless. This low knee shield is obtainable from practically every bottom position! I love the creativity and detail Aaron has put into this series. Not worried about bigger guys smash passing or spazzy training partners jumping around to a position I can control them. I love these defensive positions that can be quickly reversed into offensive positions. I knew this would be a masterclass after his half butterfly instructional helped me sweep the best guys at the gym at will with minimal effort! Thanks Aaron and congrats on your Blackbelt!!!

Effortless Guard Passing by Octavio Couto
Hey Guys, first part will be German. The English Part will be below. Englisch: Hey Folks, if you never heard about Octavio you should really look him up and give him a try. He is doing BJJ for 35 Years and has a Blackbelt for over 25 Years, so he`s been around. Actually he is really been Around - Around the whole globe teaching. He did not settle as a Competitor or with a own school somewhere but is teaching seminars around the world. Its probably impossible to grasp how many people he has influenced over the time and how much of his ideas and concepts are already used without someone knowing. Guess what, all the "new" Concept Based teaching and Defensive Postures are actually nothing new because he is using this stuff since forever. So about this, not only is he introducing the basic concepts around passing and the nescessary posture and movements but hidden between the lines there are already setups, followups and counters implemented so you can be sure to get a lot more out of this dvd as it might seem at first.

My most recent John Danaher purchase (go further faster) was expensive, but quite possibly the best BJJ series I’ve ever watched. His was of explaining concepts is groundbreaking and like nothing I’ve seen from previous instructionals from BJJ champions/coaches
