Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Perfection of the cradle system comes to the Gi.
Blackout Hybrid Cradle Gi System by David Petrone
This instructional is without any doubt the best one in my opinion when it comes to the concepts of the cradle in the gi. You have an option for whatever your pleasure is. If your position first or submission first it’s here for you. I would recommend that get the no-gi hybrid cradle as well. Prof Petrone gives you a really good breakdown of other concepts such as counters to opponents defenses and other techniques. The beauty of his two systems is that many of the techniques are interchangeable between gi and no-gi. In addition they are a gateway to adding positions, or submissions that you make like as well. The Masterpiece II.

Feet To Floor: Volume 3 by John Danaher
I have purchased every series John Danaher has made. During Covid, a buddy and I would meet and review the techniques, drilling each one. Danaher is able to disect positions, highlighting the key problems and the solutions to those problems. He is able to point out why you are doing things in a technique which makes remembering it much easier as well as better.

The Art & Science Of Locking The Shoulder From Rubber Guard by Denny Prokopos
There's alot of information in this instructional, it's alot to take in (without being overwhelming) but it provides so many ways of getting a submission from rubber guard and the Spider Web position. Denny provides alot of variations and details on positions that I never understood before, and he explains clearly and passionately. As a result of this instructional I'm looking forward to drilling these techniques with a renewed interest in the guard.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:wink::hugging:I always think I'm familiar
Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I always think I'm familiar with an area of training until I watch a Danaher video. Then when you spend eight to a dozen hours on some subject that didn't seem to be so robust, it's the best kind of humbling.

Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Before buying I was double minded cause it’s more expensive compared to many of the other instructional videos out there. John’s ability to teach is unlike anyone else. He clears a lot of the confusion and makes everything black and white. Too good, worth every cent!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:sunglasses::hugging:This is great
Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Informative and very well articulated fundamentals. This is very beneficial for me. Also such a noble thing to do — to make such a fundamental instructionals and pass hard earned knowledge.

Thanks BJJ fanatics and thanks again to Coach Jake 👊🙏
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:From cradle to grave - literally!!
The Blackout Hybrid Pin and Cradle System by David Petrone
If you're a wrestler looking to get into submission grappling, look no further!! If you're a practicing bjj player looking to expand your skill set - again - look no further!! This hybrid approach is the perfect blend of traditional wrestling and traditional bjj that makes for a nasty bomb for any opponent of any level. Taking advantage of reactions and higher ground positions to easily get past guards and remain offensive while also maintaining dominant control. Not just holding on, but DOMINANT CONTROL, all while guiding your opponents to their doom. SOLID techniques!! [PS - Head Hunters is my favorite!]

Combination BJJ Takedowns by Luke Harris
Great attention to detail! Each take-down technique is carefully explained and demonstrated. This is an opportunity to learn from one of the best Judo and Jiu jitsu practitioners. Each take down technique looks to be very learnable. Definitely valuable.

Protecting & Generating Dynamic Offense From The Turtle by Priit Mihkelson
This stuff works. Ive been doing this since before Covid and no one has broken the posture. Ive made mistakes and poorly timed or managed transitions but thats learning. Our head coach has used me to as the uke on how to beat the posture Turtle and Running man and i still survive with the Priit system. They always say learn defense but much of the defense seems to be taught by accident or is glossed over in class or as the uke throwing out a problem to be overcome but this a solid platform to stand on.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Passing 1/2 Guard
The Half Guard Passing Plan by Marcos Tinoco
I think Professor Tinoco is fantastic. I learned the concept of action/reaction from him. Marcos has beautiful jiu jitsu. In this instructional he shows how to force 1/2 guard with an advantage and pass from there before your opponent can get his game going. I highly recommend. I think the concept of using 1/2 guard as a base to pass from is an excellent tactical mindset.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:I don't think you'll be disappointed!
Cross Grip Guard and Old Man Sweep by Marcelo Cohen
A big part of my game has always been cross gripping, and this not only reminded me of things I used to use, but it also gave me a ton new ideas in new contexts. Specifically, as I get older, I like using closed guard more, and there are a lot of creative closed guard "entries" I have not seen before which is a total game changer for me. There is a decent amount of mechanical details, but the positional strategies are really where this instructional shines. Additionally, most of the techniques are done at a couple angles for each technique which is always helpful. I think for the price this is a must have, and I would highly recommend it! P.s. This is all done in the Gi, but I think most of it is still really usable stuff for No-Gi too. Enjoy!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great details
Combination BJJ Takedowns by Luke Harris
Great (but not overwhelming) details to all of the moves. I enjoy how the move is shown, than broken down!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Very advanced!
The guard Retention Anthology: Around and Under by Lachlan Giles & Ariel Tabak
I would definitely say, this is the modern Jiu-jitsu of one of the best grapplers in the world. I bought almost all Lachlan instructional videos. With this instructional improved a lot my game in guard, became confident and relaxed guard player.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Building a solid foundation
The Basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Andre Galvao
I can imagine that this instructional would appeal primarily to two main groups of people – those starting their BJJ journey (Gi) and those instructing BJJ students. For people starting their journey this instructional teaches a limited range of: positional escapes (mount, side control, and back), submission escapes, submissions from different positions, techniques to maintain the mount position, a couple of techniques to pass the closed guard and a range of basic sweeps. It is an introductory curriculum, that once mastered will give you a very solid foundation for BJJ. For those teaching students it would be useful as a reference and beneficial to see how these techniques are taught by Andre (e.g. what points are highlighted, level of detail, etc). In total, 66 techniques are taught and the instructional has a total length of 6 hours and 25 minutes. Andre is an excellent and confident instructor. As with his other instructionals that I have purchased he speaks clearly, is engaging and knowledgeable. As you would expect Andre repeats the technique including at different angles at a slow pace while continuing to talk through the technique and finally at full speed. When applicable Andre provides information about options, responses to the technique by the opponent and your suggested responses. He provides an appropriate level of detail when teaching the techniques. In my opinion the techniques being taught are effective and efficient and typical of what is generally taught to white belts (Gi). Sound and picture quality are good, however there a couple of occasions where the camera loses focus. This instructional is fit for purpose and if you are trying to learn and improve your basic Gi techniques I think you will be pleased.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Pretty Decent
The Darce Killer by Malachy Friedman
The instructor has some pretty good escapes compiled but I wish there was more explanation as to why he does things the way he suggests. It would be helpful to have a little more concepts concerning how the different chokes are applied, main focal points of defending them and then some explanations of why he escapes certain ways.
Very useful foundations for a kids' program
Grappling Games For Kids by Matt D'Aquino

Effortless Guard Retention & Pin Escapes by Octavio Couto
Octavio has a very clever BJJ, he shares principles before techniques and body positions before defences or attacks. He teaches to respond and not to react, I'd say it's a kind of scientific BJJ maybe at the beginning it's not easy to understand it but the deeper you the better you appreciate it
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Systematically attacking from half guard
Systematically Attacking From Half Guard by Gordon Ryan
Once again BJJ Fanatics and Gordon Ryan bringing the material to up my game. All I can say is if you want to advance your half guard game by leaps and bounds this is the instructional for you. Here are all the half guard elements that made Gordon the most accomplished nogi grappler on the planet. Roll with confidence as you apply Gordon's system and dominate the field. This system should be the foundation of everyone's half guard game!

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Excellent! Extremely detailed. Would recommend for any belt level.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Attention to detail
Combination BJJ Takedowns by Luke Harris
Fantastic video's with clean, clear explanations. One issue I have found in previous instructionals is that occasionally the instructor drones on or likes to hear themselves talk. Finding a balance between explaining clear, and not boring is a tough thing to do and I think Mr. Harris does this exceptionally. This video is worth its price alone for his Uchimata details and explanation. If you can get this down, I can almost guarantee you will be able to throw 99% of people in competitions. Cannot recommend enough, 10/10!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent
The Godoi Side Control System by Roberto Godoi
I have had the pleasure of attending a live seminar by Master Godoi and the techniques and learned so much. This instructional video does not disappoint- a lot of new techniques that he has not shown before in seminars I attended. Look forward to a sequel - Master Godoi has a great sweep from turtle that I did not see in this one but hope he adds it in what I hope is Vol 2. Well worth the money.

The Coyote Half Guard by Lucas Leite
This is my favorite half series. It gives very precise detail but it follows a step by step easy to follow system. 1st here then here if not available here. Excellent. After this I would recommend Lachlan Giles half series but I love this one.
