The Ultimate Takedown Series Volume 1: Gripping & Kuzushi by Travis Stevens
Travis does a great job breaking down kuzushi and moving your opponent into position for throws. This is helping to fill a big hole in my game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:The secret to controlling your opponents.
Total Body Concepts For Controlling The Fight by Fabio Leopoldo
These concepts not only have changed my game in Jiu Jitsu but have carried over to how I coach Jiu Jitsu and high school wrestling. Grappling with your full body is the only way to control your opponent as you move towards positions, points, submissions and pins. This is a Masterclass.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great Instructional for Overview of basics
Leg Lock Defense Kit by Vagner Rocha BJJ
This instructional really helped me in the 50/50 position and ankle lock position. There are some positions I wish he covered or went into depth about or maybe follow ups but I definitely was able to hit his 50/50 defense in a comp. The concept of the "spring" helped me a lot as well.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great overveiw
Cradle of Filth by Neil Melanson
Very helpful overveiw of a position I didn't have a lot of familiarity with because I started with BJJ not wrestling. Would recommend for sure.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Surprise Box
I have followed Bernardo on Instagram where I have seen his technique interviews with Roger Gracie. It's great that he has made now the insider programm where he continues this kind of interview with loads of others instructors. What are the benefits for you? 1. Bernardo asks questions that help beginners to make techniques work and that even the instructor might have forgotten to show otherwise. 2. You see also some instructors that you aren't aware of but who are masters in their field. 3. Perhaps you think that a certain technique isn't you cup of tee but through browsing through the videos you will learn a little detail that enhances your overall technique. It really is a game changer

Covers everything from entries, to setup and breaking mechanics. Inside, outside heel hooks, ankle locks, knee bars, foot lock, etc. are covered in detail. Very detailed and clear instructions. Most complete leg lock tutorial I have watched.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:I can't beleive this video only has four reviews
Mastering Tomoe-Nage by Shintaro Higashi
This is low-key one of the best videos about Judo for BJJ. Before I watched this I used to try and fail at Tomoe-Nage on a regular basis. Now I hit it on a regular basis. This is golden for anyone training BJJ, especially in a gi. Why pull guard when you can pull off this throw?
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Another excellent instructional!
Cradle of Filth by Neil Melanson
Great mix of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu. Neil brings slight modifications to basic submissions that make them more effective.

No Gi Open Guard Volume 1: K Guard by Lachlan Giles
I’m always pleased when I purchase an instructional from Lachlan. I have been shying away from K guard for awhile and only recently started using it again after purchasing this series. I have been getting the entries more frequently and am getting close to more finishes. The instructional is very well laid out and Mr Giles breaks down the techniques very well.

Excellent presentation
Russian Grappling Hacks by Rustam Chsiev
This video is a good value. There is a lot of material and it presented clearly and effectively. There are a lot of great techniques here to fit into a BJJ, or even Judo style, top game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:An introduction to Neil's game
The Catch Wrestling Formula by Neil Melanson
This must be one of the first videos he produced. You can think of it as a tasting menu for the more focused videos he has since created. Though, the core of his game is right here, especially a nice cradle sequence that you can put to immediate use. Highly recommended. Trigger warning: most of this material will make you no friends in a BJJ academy environment. It is pretty nasty.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Simple but very detailed
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I'm a 1 year white belt (135 pounds) and bought this instructional 6 months ago. It really helped a great deal. A month or so after I bought it I noticed that higher belts (blue,purple) heavier than me were struggling to hold me down and much more to submit me. Danaher gives you a compass ,simple goals you have to achieve in order to be successful in defense from every fundamental pin in Jiu Jitsu. I followed his advice (work on pin escapes and guard retention first ,then on offense) and I'm happy I did and still do. I would encourage you too to focus on defense first, so that you are not one of those higher belts who once are pinned down they are easier to beat.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:My favorite new BJJ Fanatics Instructional!
Jiu Jitsu Based Self Defense Strategies by Paul Sharp
So much to like here. Sharp not only gives you the techniques/concepts to defend yourself in street situations, but also provides “aliveness” drills so what he teaches can be pressure tested and better retained. He also demystifies the “street vs sport” argument and calls BS on it. His teaching style is incredibly understandable and his personality is very relatable. I like the fact that he is both a BJJ black belt and has 20+ years as a police officer. Great credentials for knowing how to apply BJJ skills on the street. His instruction is just enough for you to thoroughly understand what is being taught. This instructional comes with my highest recommendation!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great Instructional
Leg Lock Anthology: 50/50 by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan breaks the leg down very well to understand the various nuances that go in the the techniques. I frequently reference this series anytime I am focusing on leg locks in practice.

The Cobrinha CapoFit Workout For Grappling by Rubens "Cobrinha" Charles
This is a focused introduction to Capoeira from a BJJ perspective. The main takeaway here is the fluidity you can gain from playing with and linking the Capoeira moves together. This instructional works as much on the mind as the body. The constant motion and improvisation at play in this video are really helpful for building fluidity.

Low Risk Judo Throws For BJJ by Shintaro Higashi
What sets this video apart from other videos about using Judo for BJJ is that Higashi presents a unified system and full game. Each throw leads into another in a beautiful circle of endless attack. This is also a great Judo system for Judo because you can see where turn throws might be inserted.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Game changing stuff
The Crushing Mount by Kyle Sleeman
Kyle explains many concepts as well as specific techniques, since learning some of the concepts from this instructional I’ve been able to clean up many areas of my game. Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Filthy Goodness
Cradle of Filth by Neil Melanson
I can't say enough good things about this video. Since watching it I have been able to grab cradles from everywhere. Maybe more importantly, Neil has a way of showing you how to see the possibilities in a position that you might go years without seeing The techniques here are great but so is Neil's ability to open your eyes to an expanded grappling game. I also enjoy and learn a lot from the stories Neil tells throughout the video. You may not, so keep that in mind.
