Fantastic instructional
The Sacrifice Throw Blueprint by Dainis Nguyen-Huu
Another fantastic instructional from Dainis and an awesome follow-up to his foot sweeps. His tutorials are easy to understand and replicate & are proven in high level competition as a Worlds Silver Medalist. I can't wait for the next one to drop!
Great content
The Sacrifice Throw Blueprint by Dainis Nguyen-Huu
This is a great instructional if you're trying to learn how to take people down from standing. Even though I mostly play guard I noticed I am much more comfortable on my feet now and actually pose a threat to people when we're standing. I highly recommend this to anyone who's either new to judo style takedowns or trying to add to their pre-existing stand up game.
Excellent instructional for BJJ players who want a practical stand-up game
The Sacrifice Throw Blueprint by Dainis Nguyen-Huu
Great instructional. I've always struggled with takedowns in BJJ, and this instructional really helped me understand them in a way that finally clicked. Dainis breaks everything down clearly, making the techniques easy to follow and apply. The sacrifice throws fit well into my game and transition smoothly into submissions and guard attacks. I've already started using a few of the techniques during rolling with good results. Definitely worth it if you want to improve your stand-up for BJJ.

The Fastest Way: To Become an Effective Guard Passer (No Gi) by John Danaher
I’ve been training for over 15 years and teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu full time for several years. This instructional stood out because it focuses on concepts rather than just techniques. The explanations around creating initiative, engaging safely, grip fighting, and forcing transitions from seated to supine guard are exceptionally well thought out. The material is presented in a logical progression, making it easy to understand not only what to do, but why it works. I’ve already incorporated several of the concepts into my own curriculum and they’ve had an immediate impact on how I teach guard passing. Whether you’re an experienced competitor or an instructor looking to deepen your understanding, there’s a lot of value here. Definitely one I’ll revisit multiple times.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Danaher has a well-earned reputation for being an elite instructor. Here he helps us with one of the most important areas of jiu-jitsu - escapes. You don't want to get stuck on the bottom, and as Danaher says, it's important to have good escapes when you are on top so that you open up your game and attack, and don't hold on for dear life because you're scared of getting reversed and put on the bottom.

Enter the System – Leg Locks
Leglocks: Enter The System by John Danaher
If you are looking to modernize your lower body attacks and understand the underlying mechanics of submission grappling, John Danaher's Enter the System: Leg Locks is foundational viewing. Back in my purple belt days, this instructional was exactly what I needed to bridge the gap between myself and the aggressive blue belts who were constantly chasing me. When you have hungry, high-energy grapplers gunning for you on the mats, you need a systematic advantage to maintain your edge, and this series provided exactly that. While Danaher's breakdown of breaking mechanics and positional control is incredibly thorough, what truly took my game to the next level were the entries. Instead of just teaching you what to do once you are already in a leg entanglement, the instructional details how to seamlessly force these positions from open guards, top passing scenarios, and chaotic scrambles. It completely shifted how I view lower-body control. If you are struggling to find reliable, high-percentage pathways to the legs against resisting opponents, studying the entry sequences in this system will completely change your approach to the game.
