Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:You’ll Never Go Wrong With Neil
Defensive Tactics In The guard by Neil Melanson
I’m like a broken record whenever I review a Melanson instructional. His outside-the-box approach to grappling, coupled with his concise, concept-based instruction, will make you think differently about your game. As I learn more about BJJ, I didn’t want to be one of those players with little understanding of closed guard tactics—in this instructional, Melanson delivers a treasure trove of essential concepts you can apply immediately to your defensive game when you’re caught on someone’s guard. Yet another standout from the Ground Marshall.

And the pull up bar routine he emphasized at the end really inspired me to start working on my 3x12 reps strict toes to bar. New goal. Thanks John!
