Guard Passing Masterclass by Tomer Alroy
Best coach!! Love his technique and ever since I’ve been working with him I’ve noticed a huge improvement with my guard passing, agression and over all my jiu jitsu game. Super helpful!!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great Kettlebell instruction for anyone...
Kettlebells For Jiu Jitsu by Steve Cotter
Steve is an amazing Kettlebell instructor. His ability to teach proper technique and fundamentals on a large range of exercises is something special. I say this as someone who has trained primarily KB's for almost 10 years now and used info and programs from many trainers. That makes what is here not only great for grapplers but anyone interested in using KB for overall fitness and strength. His focus on KB technique as it's own "art" and putting an importance on mobility as well his holistic approach make this a definite 5 stars. While nothing is skipped here, including the KB "Big 6", there is also a good amount of extra work to be done with the KB completely focused on Jiu-Jitsu/grappling. My only complaint would be a request of a section on more detailed programming from Steve. He lays out an idea of how to make your own generalized programming, which is nice. However I would love to see some more concrete options on a program regarding which exercises on each day and the best ways to progress depending on different goals. With that being said, what's here is abundant and of the highest quality. 5 stars for sure!
Great Instructions

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Mounted Pin Attacks - The 4x4 Mount System by John Danaher
Although this video is way above my current level, the teaching approach that Mr. Danaher brings to the material covered means that I will be coming back to rewatch the video over and over again to gain more insight into the strategies as I slowly come to better understand the concepts that he is presenting in this video series.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Worth it.
The Stack Pass by Andre Galvao
This video is absolutely worth it if you’re already a fan of this style of passing.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A comprehensive overview of the most high percentage standing techniques
Standing2Ground: Takedowns & Standing Skills For Jiu Jitsu by John Danaher
This lays the blueprint for your standing grappling game, particularly for Jiu Jitsu, but as an MMA practitioner there's still been lots of it that I've found highly applicable. It includes all the most high percentage takedowns from the front - double legs, single legs, body locks, trips, foot sweeps, knee picks, ankle picks - you name it. Includes detailed and clear instruction on the mechanics of the techniques, as well as the most high percentage set ups. It also gives some really helpful general insights about the goals of standing grappling. Just a really good instructional, especially for Jiu Jitsu athletes with an under developed standing game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Simple yet effective!
Great stuff from one of the best lapel players out there right now. Good structure on the DVD, easy flow and a nice finish to the DVD series. Watching it was easy!

Kimura Hunting by Kazushi Sakuraba
Excellent instructional video. Sakuraba gives many details that make Kimuras,, wrist locks, and straight arm bars more efficient. Small details and adjustments have already improved my successful submission percentage rate using these methods.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Hidden gem
The Pressure Passing Manual by Marco Barbosa
Marco Barbosa's Pressure Passing Manual is a hidden gem. Barbosa explains important guard passing principles and shows how to practice them unlike the majority of guard passing instructionals where the instructors simply show you individual techniques and that's all. I'd say this instructional is great for beginners as well as for more advanced players. The content is short and to the point (about 2 hours) and English interpretation is added to Barbosa's Portuguese explanation. Highly recommended.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Really liked the instruction, just
The Brabo/Darce Evolution by Dave Porter
Really liked the instruction, just wish he spent a larger portion of the demo talking about principles and concepts than rattling off setups. I feel like he has a ton more insight to give there.
Fantastic instructional
The Buchecha Half Guard by Marcus "Buchecha" Almeida
Buchechas success in Gi grappling should speak for itself, and this tutorial is innovative and highly technical. The intricacies are best suited to more advanced students, but Buchechas breaks it down in a way novice students will pick up.

The Nelson Family: Catch Wrestling Nelson Holds by Jake Shannon
Nelsons are unbelievably valuable and very underused. These techniques are great in MMA and in submission wrestling. Nelsons are great for standup grappling, against the cage (see Barnett vs Mir) and on the ground.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:succinct, effective, comprehensive
Inside Guard Secrets RDLR & The False Reap by Kieran Kichuk
this is one of my favorite specific position instructional (as opposed to something more concept/broad based such as guard retention, passing, or pins) that I have watched in a while. its comprehensive while remaining succinct enough to watch it once through easily and then re-watch material as specific issues arise. i enjoy kierans teaching style as well

Police Tactics For Police Officers & Instructors by Jay Wadsworth
The instructor describes some techniques for arresting a suspect. Some are solo techniques, some require a partner. There's also some discussion of how to protect your gun during close encounters with the suspect. The audio is clear. The "suspect" looks uncomfortable at times ;)

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Half Guard 3 Directions of Attack by John Danaher
I didn't expect anything different from this instructional then johns other stuff but this one instructional has drastically changed how I view half and my half guard game. the key thing for my first full watch through is the knee lever sweep. this also completes alot of gaps in my knowledge or add better details then some previous instructional I've looked at which has been mainly Craig's stuff (also very good).
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Top notch guard retention
Framing Domination and Guard Recovery by Tom DeBlass
This is probably the best guard retention video I have ever seen. Tom breaks down concepts in a way that are super easy to understand. Monitoring the knee, controlling the crossface hand and if they get to close the head have all been a game changer for me. I'm ready to check out more of Tom's instructionals!

Total Body Concepts For Controlling The Fight by Fabio Leopoldo
Well explained concepts that made big and immediate improvements for me on the mat. As a white belt, I can go weeks not feeling like I’ve been making any progress, so it is encouraging to see and feel a difference. Excited to keep training and focusing on this concept!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:It’s Roger. Enough said.
The Roger Gracie Closed Guard System by Roger Gracie
Roger shows basic moves but broken down to such a technical level and complexity. A beginner white belt will understand what’s being shown, but black belts will still gain insight from his reasons and applications of the moves. It’s amazing to watch how he can take something learned on day a day one introduction class and used it to become the greatest Gi competitor ever.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great guard instructional
